The Best Decks for End of Season Laddering - June 2018
We're a few days away from the end of season 51 so it's time to make a final push for better loot and to improve your starting rank for July! Check out our picks for end of season decks below.
Odd Paladin
The best deck around right now. The only classes that may give you some trouble are a few of the Druid variants, Taunt Warrior, and Control decks from both Priests and Warlocks. Thankfully, those decks aren't being played very often due to being not that great against everything out there so you don't have too much too worry about.

Even Shaman
A beautiful tier 1 deck. Only really has trouble against Even Warlocks though certain Control-style decks may give you a run for your money.

Recruit Hunter
Destroy your opponent through massive amounts of value in the late game thanks to Kathrena Winterwisp. There are a few good targets in your deck for her Battlecry and Deathrattle which not only will activate through normal mechanics but also Play Dead. Take control of the board and you'll see great results! Odd Paladin and Even Shaman will give you trouble though, so if that's all you're seeing, don't go for it.

Odd Rogue
Much like our friend Recruit Hunter, this deck while amazing, has problems when it comes to Odd Paladin and Even Shaman. The fun early-game destruction through an out of control Hench-Clan Thug is a huge highlight of the deck if you haven't had the pleasure of playing with it before.

Even Warlock
Our final pick for end of season laddering is a deck which gives trouble to Odd Paladin and Even Shaman. If you're at a spot on the ladder where you're only seeing these two decks or classes, this is the deck for you! It also does great against other classes, with notable strengths against many different types of Druid decks, Recruit Hunter, and all your Warlock brothers.

Man, Mage is not even here. Hopefully next season we get some good cards
I've had good luck with burn mage, and it can beat a lot of decks (except for odd paladin, which I surprisingly don't see toooo much).
Lots of people still hate the deck haha, but whatever. I like that all games are quick no matter what (thanks to Aluneth).
Hey man, hook us up with that decklist, I wanna play Priest again!
I managed to reach rank 1, now fell back to the bottom of rank 2 with Odd Paladin. I constantly get matched up with rank 6000 legends and it feels really hard. How come I'm not matched with other rank 1/2 players?
should i try evenlock and recruit hunter?....yeah why not, i have to change a little bit after 2 weeks with spiteful rogue and spell hunter xd
PD: yes spiteful rogue, with Sprint xd
I also remember when warlock didn't have any heals during Un'Goro and was basically unplayable because of it.
Warlock both needs and shouldn't have healing.
i remember that meta game, i usually knew every single match i was against, but whenever i saw a warlock i thougth "hm a warlock?....the sky is the limit" xD
Good picks I'd say, although Token Druid is also very strong. Weirdly I'm seeing an absolute ton of taunt druid right now - seems like a very odd choice for last-minute laddering as it's so slow!
Difference*
Shh don't give people the idea to play Recruit hunter - that is my climbing deck!
Maybe some budget decks aswell?
Even Shaman is terrible in Standard.
Respectfully disagree. Watched Stan Cifka ride it and his Even Warlock to legend early in the month. It's also got fairly good matchups against a lot of popular meta decks.
No Druids, no Warlocks, aggro.... who the hell has decided any of these decks are good to Ladder? The only one I like from these is Even Warlock.
HearthPwn's own data gathering via Innkeeper? HSReplay? Vicious Syndicate? You know, people who take data on these things.
WL as in Warlock? See, it's not so hard to use coherent language, just a few letters different.
The fact that you could easily understand that it meant Warlock determine that it wasn't all that necessary.
Bonus : difference*
Nah, different.
I wrote this because it's stupid to shorten already short words (plus Warlock is one word so to put WL makes even less sense; would you abbreviate Priest as PS or Shaman as SM?), and on top of that it requires more effort to decipher what has been written than to write a few more letters. I'm hyper-intelligent but hate wasting my energy deciphering trivialities. Just my 2 cents.
I miss the days when only viable WL heals were Siphon Soul and Earthen Ring Farseer lol :P
At least Dark Pact isn't 8 anymore. That's what we need to tell ourselves. Right before we start swearing about the spellstones.
