will my existing ToT quests be reverted to normal quests after 2 July?
I can already tell I'm going to miss these gold + dust quests when they go.... :(
extra gold and free dust is always welcome :)
What is the tier list of this arena?
Indeed, in my angry rant I somewhat missed the necessity to be clearer about my point. However, TallAr92 has summed it wonderfully for me, thank you very much indeed.
I apologize for lack of coherence to the community and anyone who spent time reading my post without realizing what I was on about.
Few things that are gonna get downvoted on this forum:
would you rather a regular mogushan warden
you mean 1 golden rare and 4 golden commons!
Just faced a guy with 3 (!) Master of Realities at 10-2. That thing is fucking nuts. Has near Boulderfist Ogre stats which is pretty decent on it's own, and the effect is INSANE. Keep in mind that it effectively turns your hero power into "summon a random 3 mana minion".
I'm really digging the abundance of 100 gold/dust quests right now! Wish this would last longer!
Very nice Blizzard !!
Until July 2nd, when the tavern arena ends
Did anyone get 3 new quests from the event the first time? I only got 2 since I was saving 1 quest for re-roll.
I would appreciate if they warned about this mechanic before...
Thanks for clarifying!
I get RNG implementation, I really do. It is basically gambling - that final Ragnaros hit to your opponents face that kills him even though he had 5 cards on the board, that Piloted Shredder Doomsayer drop that kills full board for your nemesis, Unidentified Maul's +1 attack that decides the game; that rush, that's the biggest rush you can have and they want us chasing it. The more you chase, the more you play. The more you play, the more probability you'll spend money on the game.
Obviously, RNG has to be there when it comes to card games, but Blizzard has steadily been increasing it through time and this arena move is just the latest installment of shit sandwich that's served to all us rush-chasers. Now, I'm more of a constructed player but I do enjoy arena game from time to time. This update made it unplayable if you are one of the rare breed of men or women who like to play their games with as little stress as possible. I know Blizzard won't change their business model, re-evaluate this Taverns of Time crap and so on, but it would be nice if at least there is a little bit of consideration for everyone (and I mean everyone) who play this game and that is - do NOT push your choices on us. Let me choose which arena I want to pull my hair out with, regular madness or Toki's purgatory arena playground. So if you are inclined to use rusty razor wire to floss and play with these new '28 Arena exclusive cards', please do. But leave the fuck rest of us alone. Tnx.
What in the actual fuck are you talking about
He doesn't like RNG bullshit like some of HS players and he's upset that he can't choose between normal arena and it's more RNG oriented sister Taverns of Time. Which I don't enjoy as well :P
Just my opinion. For me, Arena was always the most RNG oriented mode available (except tavern brawl obviously) giving me the most stress because of RNG (opponent better deck, my bad draft, very limited answers). And this one is even worse.
But I guess if some1 likes arena then this event is actually nice as it creates some new "funny" scenarios.
I was honestly waiting for next expansion to get back in arena, so the new content is always appreciated to change things up.
Had this quest:
As it's 60/60 decided to play spell hunter so I could avoid completing it and reroll tomorrow.
Didn't play any 1 cost minions (and none from Rexxar) and it still completed :(
So yeah these cards basically broke arena. Either you get those 2-3 top tier ones (especially the draw one) and win like it's nothing or you simply lose on the spot.
