Control Mage & Quest Warrior #1&2
it more about swamp the board with minions and buff than bust dame like odd rouge so i don't think lerroy fit in this decks
o si no lo tienes lo puedes cambiar por reckless rocketeer
Actually I got to rank 3 with Spiteful Priest last season. Continuing this season with that and a few other decks. Not unplayable but certainly not super popular as there aren't many options available.
Not so... Mind Blast Priest is still very playable. I easily climb to rank 5 with it. After that, it's rock-paper-scissors like everything else.
MB Priest is great against Hadronox Druid... which is flooding the meta these days. If you see a Druid, mulligan hard for Skulking Geist and Mind Control (or Shadow Visions, to pull Mind Control).
Is Big Spell Mage better since the nerfs? And i would like to test recruit warrior sind woecleaver was my free weapon but im missing too much stuff for that
Hunter in the meta? Wonder how long it will last
Most Priest decks I've faced are Spiteful, so yeah it's pretty much just Duskbreaker, and the one-of Scream that may or may not be in there. Turn 8 is too late for a 2 damage aoe, at least against Odd Paladin (if you haven't been clearing until this point).
Control Priest though, yeah I'm sure they have more answers, but I'm surprised if it can consistently keep up with 2 dudes per turn and refills from Divine Favor.
Has anyone tried Kingsbane rouge? Is it really good in this meta ?
its still strong, there are kolento videos on youtube, with the deck list, but from personal experience, i think it still has the same problems it had b4, like aggro being a really bad matchup.+ kingsbane is not that big
Well since aggro barely exists anymore i'd say it works pretty well
What's the matter with Maly druid? Haven't faced a single one these days.
My experience is hunters....hunters everywhere....annoying like hell.
Because both suck against Druid.
It's crazy seeing Malygos Druid as a Tier 1/2 deck on HSReplay, if you only filter legend rank haha. It looks like a ridiculous deck to play.
I'm probably gonna try to take token druid. I knew it would be a solid deck as soon as warlock fell out of the spotlight. Obviously if I still play against the few evenlocks out there, it'll be a tough matchup. I like that the games can be finished moderately fast (compared to my other favorite deck, big spell mage haha).
i love this new reset system, start at rank 5, got entire month to meme with shutterwok LUL
I still can't understand the hype about Odd Pala again.
I didn't play the deck much yet, but it felt pretty weak for me. And Odd Pala is one of my best if not the best matchup for me at the moment (yesterday 75% winrate against it).
Can someone explain me, why this deck full of trash is rated do highly?
It's a swarm deck, so the idea is to constantly come back from clears and chip away.
Also there are super power plays from Level Up (and Quartermaster in Wild) and Unidentified Maul.
It also helps that Stonehill can get Tarim.
Yes, the deck runs fairly weak cards, but when combined with 2x 1/1 dudes per turn it gets out of hand.
The deck takes advantage of Priest not having enough clears, and being able to silence Warlock walls. It can definitely outrace other aggro decks too, thanks to hero power and Righteous Protector.
Yeah maybe it's better in Wild - but I talked about Standard, because most of the discussion about "how good is deck X?" is about Standard if not mentioned otherwise.
I agree with you haha. It does have a good ability to bounce back. It crushes odd rogue, when odd rogue was still fairly popular (I think it's been slipping a bit lately). I really think it gets wrecked by the current "slow" meta that's able to clear the board over and over again.
I don't understand the one guy saying priest doesn't have enough board clears. If they can't beat odd paladin with Duskbreaker, Primordial Drake, and Psychic Scream... Also Wild Pyromancer with Power Word Shield haha. There's just clears for days.
Anyways, I'm usually happy against a paladin because I know there will be at least some board interaction and fun plays. And I can beat them more often than not lol (with big spell mage, control priest, and token druid).
In my experiences opponents tend to play poorly against the deck for whatever reason. I've had a handful of games where I was playing this deck, lost control of the board but still regained it and won anyway. An example would be getting 4 more dudes on the board by using something like Lost in the Jungle + hero power. Then buff using levelup!, Fungalmancer, Stormwind Champion, Unidentified Maul, Tarim or whatever to buff after having a diminished board. Opponents either got lazy after acquiring board control or didn't understand the reload potential that the 2 dudes hero power provides. Normally you are just going to win using your aggro cards, not the reload, but there's plenty of comeback opportunities to be had.
