new meta LUL
Even Pala is "dead" and Control-/Cubelock got nerfed. We got a new meta.
Cornered Sentry is great in Quest warrior. It synergises with many cards (whirlwinds, armorer) and as a bonus it really messes up resurrect effects for your enemy, so instead of hadronox or charged devilsaur (or Velen) your opponent is likely to res a "little raptor"
Well an important deck missing here in the list that is actually strong in meta is Even Warlock imho.
Agree.
I'm good with the quest warrior but as another user already wrote a cornered sentry can give you awesome combos with the drywhiskers on turn 6
Can someone please enlighten me on the reason why Even Shaman is better than a regular list? I mean,Shaman's hero power is horrible so I don't really see the benefit of it costing 1 less (especially since you can't run Bloodlust in there).... I get that Murkspark Eel is a really good 2 drop but that's all you get from losing odd cost cards, and I really don't see how that's worth it...
In fact, reduced hero power for shaman is very good, you can spam it every turn practically for no cost, and Turn 1 Hero power (Totem) and Turn 2 Flametongue Totem is strong, also, some list include Sea Giant, and the hero power, spaming totems, can help reduce the cost of the giant
The fact that you can always totem on turn 1 allows you to win the early game very effectively with dire wolf or flametongue. Its particularly good against paladin decks because of this and still has the potential to start snowballing quickly against slower classes.
Token druid is total garbage. Don't play it
Because you suck with it?
That Quest warrior is the old version of my deck from a month ago which was good before nerfs, but after nerfs I did some testing and I would recommend a tech replacement of Ooze for Cornered Sentry:
Your deck? Wow! Its amazing how noone before you ever put Phantom Militia and Fire Plume's Heart in one deck, syke
It is properly my deck. The notable inclusions are:
Reckless Flurry combo, only running a single copy of Execute, Drywhisker Armorer over Armorsmith was also fairly new idea back when I created the deck on April 14 on this site (but played it before that too of course). After this deck got popularized by Kripp (who properly credits me for giving him this deck) Warrior winrate increased by a lot on average, though it went down a bit after Odd Paladin (which this deck is dominating) became less popular...
Also having lots and lots of cheap taunts to actually finish the quest before turn 10 is also my idea (as opposed to being full on control with board clear and armor gain while having quest done only in late game). If you look at the stats on quest warrior decks that were used before this they were much worse with somewhat different curve and taunt to board clear/armor ratio.
This particular deck variation was not even on the radar before Kripp started playing it, with only games played since expansion release on hs replay being my games on the launch day of expansion. Though back then I ran Witchwood Grizzly which were soon replaced with something that better counteres Cubelock, but now I think it is good idea to counter Witching Hour instead as that card is problematic in both Charge and Taunt variations, and having a 2 mana taunt is still good enough in most other match ups (especially alongside a board clear)
Lol is amazing how can someone fool himself. Just because you played it and then you gave it to Kripp doesn't make it your deck. I made an Odd Quest Warrior on the first hour of the new expansion, and it's almost the same as the one that everybody played. I made it to legend and my winrate was very good, but guess what? I don't call it my deck, because i don't think i'm kinda special by doing this and obviously are a LOT of players creating decks, and some of them, OBVIOUSLY (again), tried quest warrior without Baku or Genn. Putting an echo taunt was an obvious move, and Armorer too, seeing all of those spamming decks around.
The Taunt Warrior deck needs a Cornered Sentry that's for sure. I replaced a Rotten Applebaum with it as I kind of feel it needs a weapon removal because I face many Odd Paladins with Vinecleaver. Do you think there's a better card to replace than the the cards I mentioned?
This deck has 75% winrate against Odd Paladin. Vinecleaver doesn't even make the difference those extra dudes die to board clears just like usual dudes they make with hero pwoer, so I don't think you need weapon removal for Paladin that is for sure... old deck included weapon removal because of Cubelock, Paladins were just an added bonus in a match up where you crush them ruthlessly anyway...
I actually made an effort to popularize this particular build... Did you do something like that?
But... but... your daly win rates section says that Odd Paladin and Spiteful Druid are the highest winrate atm?
Because this "daily winrates" are total nonsene trash. :D
Don't know, where they get the data from. I guess rank 20 x_X ...
