Six Hearthstone Decks to Try After the Glorious Nerfs
Yesterday, six of our favourite cards were given a nerf which has shaken up the meta. We've seen Even Paladin and Cubelock drop off quite a bit compared to where they were before the patch and we've seen a rise in Even Shaman and Odd Rogue. Here are some decks that were played yesterday by streamers that we think are worth a look.
Have you been having any luck with any decks after the patch? Share your own creations in our deckbuilder and reply to this post in the comments below with it!

Another post with no Warrior......shameful. Rush and Baku warrior are extremely underrated. Ive played with Baku warrior mostly this month and its been about a 60-65% because Minion decks cant beat 4 to 5 boardclears with tank up.
Here try my deck, though now that nerfs came through probably some tech substitutions are required, like Cornered Sentry might be a must now, I will update it in a few days:
Why Quest Warrior is not there? I thought it was the real winner of these balance changes, since its nemesis are dead(even paladin, cube/control locks) now and it counter well even shaman (at least on paper) that is rising now.
cubelock dead? LOL...
Ok well maybe not dead, but actually it lost a lot of its self-sustain power, am I wrong?
For sure it won't have the same T1 power that it had until the nerf.
The meta should now counter it better imho.
I agree with you. Cubelock is barely tier 2 now. The loss in sustain allows for several decks to burn/rush them down easily. And a whole turn delay for the Possessed Lackey gives you a whole extra turn to burn them further. Quest Warrior can even have a chance against them now. I don't know what these other people are saying lol.
I do think Quest or odd warrior belongs on this list, but I guess not everyone finds those playstyles fun (quest warrior is veeerrry RNG based lol, with Brawl and the hero power, and odd warrior is another boring deck where every game plays the same, in my opinion, same problem with old cubelock).
I played like 70 games yesterday from Rank 4 to Legend and dont faced any Cubelock just Even Warlock, it's alot weaker for sure.
Of course u do
I also highly recommand u this product: https://www.redbubble.com/es/people/izenx/works/22975044-me-go-face?p=mens-graphic-t-shirt
I wondered if Baku Face Hunter would make a re-emergence. But I must admit, I'm curious to see how that Even Shaman with Corpsetaker hits the meta. It looks like it could be a sweet, fun deck. Does anybody have play experience with Jackie's Malygos Wallet Druid? It looks super fun and I *could* craft it. I just wonder if it's worth the dust.
The comments section is, as it often seems, rather hilarious. So many people shrieking "cancer! CANCER!". Setting aside the fact that it's a fucking awful disease and that how it crept its way into the gaming lexicon is beyond me; Ya'll still need to chill the hell out.
There will always be decks that are strong, pervasive, annoying to play against or any combination of the three. That does not make them cancer. And if you hate them and this game so much, stop spending so damned much time playing it. And just to add a point that I'm sure has come up or will, that I've seen around here; If HearthPwn posts bad decks, they get criticized for shitposting. If they post good decks, they contribute to 'netdecking and cancer'. It's up to you to win, whether it's at life, how you look at this game or playing it.
Dog was playing a maly druid similar to Jackie's list earlier on. Performed really well in some matchups but struggled against aggro (obviously) and could still suffer from bad draw. Good and fun deck but not worth blowing a load of dust if your main goal is to be competitive.
Cool. Thanks. Kind of what I thought, but I wondered. Malygos has always had such sweet potential. Perhaps I've just got an itch to craft something new post-nerfs.
Mm, 10 year player of MtG, and about 3 years now in HS? Yeah, supes new, bruh.
Fact is that most of the decks in this game want to play on curve to try and optimize resources. That's TCG 101. But yeah, the deck actually has some interesting synergies, combos and a little dash of random resource generation. It looks flexible and fun to play. People enjoy different things. I personally think playing Hadronox Druid would make me want to pass out at my keyboard. Other people love it. Let people enjoy things.
I always wonder why some people try to stand so far above others, by shaming them for playing on curve lol. If you're not playing on curve... Aren't you playing sub-optimally? Some decks are just better at curving than others. And when they curve well, then you've got a good optimized decks.
Some people's arguments are just so weak on this website haha.
