Goodbye Aggro Warlock.
I love how you think Kirin Tor is so OP that it needs nerved haha
Mysterious Challenger is 6 mana for a 6/6 body that draws 5 secrets and plays all of them for free, and that's not OP. You think Kirin Tor Mage is?
@SnDragon Comparing Kirin Tor Mage to Mysterious Challenger is totally unfair especially when u has no secret in ur hand. However, I remember back the time that Mysterious Challenger deck rolling on the top ranking deck list, many people were crying for nerfing it as well.
Mysterious Challenger not being overpowered is news to me. Have you actually played with/against him when he was in standard? He was the most oppressive card by far at the time, very similar to Patches the Pirate. There are even people to this day refusing to play Wild just because he exists there.
this patch killed control warlock and up aggro decks. Thanks Blizzard:*
NErfs..Same dumb retarded shit called game!!
You can still summon 2/3s and divine shield taunt wisps with it, so basically no difference. I'll totally take 2 2/3s and a righteous protector for 5 mana
Or you can get a 1/2 and a couple of 2/1s, missing out on your battlecries. You're better off playing a 3 drop and hero power. Besides, what are you going to cut?
Why is this called the spiteful nerf patch when spiteful is actually the least impactful nerf?
Probably because Spiteful has been the most triggering card considering it can summon a 16/16 worth of stats with possible anti-magic.
But.. it still does, just 1 turn later
1 turn later makes a big difference. I'm not saying spiteful decks are going away (or that they're staying for that matter), just that 1 turn is huge.
Normally I'd agree but for a card that cheats mana the way Spiteful Summoner does, it makes a very small difference whether you play it on turn 6 or 7 (especially in druid because of the ramp). I think we have to wait until they release shittier 10 drops until that card is balanced
An aggro deck getting one more turn to kill you or a control/combo deck having 1 more mana and card to answer it is huge. Don't underestimate the power of one extra turn.
Except aggro never cared about Spiteful Summoner... it's not like there was a summon with taunt that puts the spiteful player out of lethal
It gives them a minion that will kill one of yours every turn, or put you on the defensive by threatening a two turn lethal. One more turn for aggro to snowball and make that giant minion irrelevant is huge. Especially as spiteful druid is a tempo deck and can contest your board early on with fire fly, crypt lord, saronite, etc.
