The Standard Brawliseum Has Taken Over Tavern Brawl This Week!
Welcome back, gladiator! Build a deck for Standard format this time and compete for glorious prizes!
Trivia
- This is the first time we are seeing the standard version of this brawl.
- This brawl is much like past Heroic Brawls but instead uses the Arena reward structure.
- One free entry to the brawl is given to all players.
How it Works
This Tavern Brawl is a cross between what we're used to seeing for Heroic Brawls and bits of Arena.
- You will pay an entry fee equal to an Arena run to take part in this Tavern Brawl.
- Using cards in your own collection, you build a deck for the standard format.
- Like Arena or a Heroic Brawl, once you lose 3 games in the Standard Brawliseum you are out.
- Rewards will be given to players based on their performance with their deck, equal to the Arena reward structure as seen below.
- Your first run of this brawl will be free! There's nothing to lose!
Share Your Brawliseum Decks
Using our deckbuilder, you can share your decks and strategy for this week's brawl. Use the deckbuilder normally but when saving your deck, make sure you change the Deck Type to "Tavern Brawl" and the brawl to "The Standard Brawliseum". Following these instructions will help other players find your deck. Don't forget to include screenshots to show proof of your wins and losses!
I do in wild as there are other taunts I can play over over the 3/6 taunt so oakheart will pull up to 2 taunts and hadronox. Not great in standard in general but it would have been good that run as my rng was bad but over 50+ games I think the deck is better without oakheart in standard.
Fair reasoning, it's value versus consistency, and I like to play it safe. I hope rng treats you better next time!
I'm expecting to face mostly aggro players who want their quick wins so I've drafted a fun demon control/fatigue deck with the Glinda/Banker combo that wrecks pallies and can outlast control. Got a fatigue win already against Hadronox Druid while still holding a Twisting Nether in my hand. Off-meta decks are the most fun in these brawls.
Before I get hate, I have no Lackeys or Voidlords in my deck.
Would you mind sharing your deck? Sounds like really fun deck.
It's a deck I found on this website and have been using a lot in standard ranked. Tons of fun and really unpredictable!
Am I wrong or should this be called Cube-seum? It seems like they could come up with some cool deck building constraints other than just go build a ladder deck.
The only thing for this Brawl to be fair is to unlock all cards for all players.
the only thing to make this game fair is to give all cards to all players, they are obviously not going to do that
Doesn’t need to be fair. It’s a once in a blue moon competitive brawl that allows the more competitive community have a go at making the best runs. Most brawls are skewed towards casual players and most people only do them to get the free pack and bounce. In this case casual players can still do that by losing 3 times and get their free pack for the week and move on.
This mode could be better, but personally I like it, overall it gives the competitive community an outlet other than ladder and I’m sure streamers will be rocking the mode for the next week so some enjoyable streams could come from it. I’m sure Toast will meme run a few, and Kibler will Control Priest to waste all the Paladins and warlocks that will likely flood it.
Hate arena. Concede, concede, concede.
Arena called. Said you owed four years worth of alimony.
Well you just named 7 decks, add Control Priest to that list and you have a nice variety compared to previous metas where there were only 3 decks.
5-1 so far :)
Noblegarden brawl comes next week, so there's that.
Click Retire, get a pack. Not too bad I guess!

I love when you start the brawl you get the message "Getting the right match is important to this brawl"
Oh! So you admit to fixing the pairings in order to control outcomes. Nice to know. And no.
1 deck made, 3 Angry Chicken's played on turn 1 on purpose, 3 replies to my greetings, 3 concedes, 30 gold and a Witchwood pack in 5 minutes.
Thanks Blizz!
Yay, 3 conceed = pack) then go back to sweet wild
