Shudderwock and Lifedrinker Battlecry Animation Update
It looks like Blizzard will be updating the Animation for Shudderwock and Lifedrinker in a future update.
Quote from Jesse Hill Recently, our players have had feedback regarding the Shaman card, Shudderwock. We understand that the length of its Battlecry animation and other animations spawned from its Battlecry can be frustrating.
In a future update, we will be doubling the animation speed of Shudderwock’s Battlecry so it will lessen the impact on the overall pacing of your current Hearthstone match. In addition, the amount of Battlecries Shudderwock can reproduce will be capped at 20.
We will also be speeding up the animation of Lifedrinker for similar reasons.

no, no you can't, in a realistic scenario grumble is never gonna hit more than 3 things,and most of the times only 1, the deck that had the most battlecries effects sucked dick because it took an average of 15 turns to start doing plays,i own the card in golden, this changed nothing for the worse and many things for the better

It only does like 6-10 battlecries and then it triggers again w/ murmuring so it shouldn't affect that.
There is about 13 battlecty minions in the deck , so if it is still capped even with murmuring it might make a difference in some games.
Suddenly the Battle.net app started and update on my Hearthstone so I guess they were quick to implement this update to the animations.

20 isn't that bad, that is 20 per shudderwock, most combos would still work.
Anyone know if shudderwock's shudderwock is counted to the cap?

Any change that makes a card weaker should be eligible for dust. You can say “Nobody uses 20 battlecries” but some people do and they use murmuring elemental to double it up over and over again. It’s a nerf, there should be a dust refund.
Pretty sure you only want a refund because the win rate sucks.

This IS technically a "nerf" ... and I am fine with anyone who wants to dust their Shudderwock getting full dust. Their toxicity should be "rewarded" and Shudderwock removed from the pool of filth that plays the deck. I for one wont be dusting it as I will no longer play a deck that abuses it.
I played exactly 5 games with Shudderwock and won every one of them. And I felt dirty as hell afterwards. The third game I had put The Darkness into the deck and the extra animations from that battlecry were unbearable not to mention how my opponent must have felt as I filled their deck with candles while I watched their life tick down.
If you could trigger Shudderwock and force someone to sit through 10-20 animations once a turn that is fine (with faster animation speeds) but it is possible to fill much of your hand with 1 cost Shudderwocks and it is that second turn with 60+ animations that is the toxic part.
One solution would be a Grumble nerf to only return elementals to your hand or only discount elementals. Or take away the battlecry from Shudderwock and replace it with "When played" which would stop the additional trigger of previously played Shudderwocks making that second turn less toxic for the game.
Math: 7 battlecrys (2 Saronite, 1 Grumble, 2 Lifedrinker, 1 Zola) + Murmuring + Shudderwock (14 possible battlecrys) this will possibly return 4 one cost Shudderwocks to your hand for next turn. If you could play all 4 again your minimum would be 14+(7+7)+(7+7+7)+(7+7+7+7)+(7+7+7+7+7) for 119 and that is not even accounting for additional Shudderwocks that are returned that turn or the order of when the murmuring battlecry goes off from each Shudderwock... (this is rough math but is consistent with what I saw when playing the deck) ... does that seem ok?

you don't even cast 20 battlecries in the shudderwock deck, even if you were to play a battlecry centric deck you wouldn't want 21 battlecry cards anyway(counting shudderwock too)...

It has 14 battlecries total and even then it probably uses too many too..
if anything it's a buff since people playing this deck won't take that long to climb (if they are good at combo decks, and good at making decisions).
