You Can Now Gift Blizzard Balance on Battle.net
Just in time for that Hearthstone expansion, guys!
Announced earlier today, you can now gift your friends Blizzard Balance just like you were previously able to gift them card packs or other Blizzard games items available in their store.
Quote from BlizzardStruggling to find the perfect gift for a friend, or just hoping to give them the flexibility to choose their own gifts?
We’re expanding our gifting service by allowing you to send Blizzard Balance to your friends, offering you the benefits of retail gift cards in a new and easy-to-use digital format.
Sending Balance gifts is simple: visit the Blizzard Shop, select one of the suggested values—or enter a custom amount, click the “Gift Balance” button, and select a friend.
Blizzard will deliver your gift along with a notification and personalized message directly to your friend, who can then claim the digital gift card balance onto their account.
As with other gifts, you’ll receive an email and a notification in the Blizzard App when a friend sends you Blizzard Balance, informing you that the gift has arrived and is ready to be claimed.
Giving the gift of Blizzard Balance is a fast and easy way to ensure that your friends and family will get the Blizzard product that they want most.
Happy Gifting!
Don't mind if I do XD
The amount entered is too low. Please enter a valid amount.
Aw come on. They could've atleast mentioned that there's a minimum amount
Hmmm, very loved with 13 downvotes

But then that golden common comes along, and it's all worth it.
Jesus, after that "1408" Stephen King book I consistently see that goddamn 1408 number for last about 7 years. And even here, Batman#1408. I guess it may be some kind of little reference anyway
The image is funny. $25 is 17 card cacks (15 packs for $19.99 plus 2 packs for $2.99) so the message should be “Happy birthday. I hope you will be lucky and for these $25 you will get at least one legendary)
This is stupid. This is exactly what gold sellers on World of Warcraft dreamed a loong time ago.
Now people will sell gold by themselves and make transaction on their own, meaning that less players would feel the need to buy WoW Tokens
They still did that before, with Paypal, but now is more out in the sunlight.
If Blizzard makes a fee out of gift, then this move is the smartest move they ever did. They would leech back transaction that previously were made on Paypal
Money money moneyy money money you need more money.... MORE MORE
And still same cards same words different order.
Oh yeh the picture is different
LoL
Really nice feature anyway.
Batman didn't send me anything for my birthday...
well I guess you didn't send him anything either, am I right?
hackerman
All the more reason for someone to try and hack someones password and see if they have a credit card setup on the account. I wouldnt add a credit card or I would make sure to have a super hard password.
Or you know... have 2FA on your account.
Until Blizzard gets hacked and your details are sold on the dark web.
Blizzard electronic gift cards. Well I suppose it was coming...
Feel free to try on me xD.
