I love these.
In full voting:
It is so wrong. It turns out this is core card for steal rogue. Its much more strong then it looks. With only deadly poison its 4 lifesteal damage every turn (and trust me, you will never run out of durable).
Yeah, i know that steal rogue never was competitive enough, its too random and so on, but still, this card by itself is pretty good. If you compare it to Kingsbane, it has much more flexibility:
Hey this deck is really interesting, what else would you put in it, and why ? (maybe buccaneer )
Wow, didn't see it coming. Well, if you really interested, i can tell, but i'm not really good in this game. But that deck is pretty fun tho.
I though about other weapon buffs but I didn't find anything valuable in standard. Cutthroat Buccaneer was at my mind but Im not sure. +1 damage its not that much, I'm afraid it's not worth it to make deck even more Cutlass depended for just 1(2) dmg. With double deadly poison its exactly that heal you need to survive in my opinion.
Well I also have some steal cards like foxes, hallucinations, pick pockets (this card is insane) and Tess (this is literally new N'Zoth and Yogg in one minion) and Face Collector for some value against control.
One Mistwraith, more for testing, but its actually not bad against some decks. Average 4 drop that can suddenly become 5-7 is pretty good against non-aggro decks. But it's too slow against aggro, so only 1 copy.
Vilespine for control, only one. One Rotten Applebaum, very good against aggro, won me few games against paladins. Preps to make echo cards more valuable (especially against aggro), 1 shadowstep for Collector and Vilespine (not the best card tho).
Sherazin, Corpse Flower coz there its insanely good with echo cards, but its bad against aggro and vulnerable to silence. Sounds good, doesn't work. Still keep it tho.
Cheap Shot is good, thats why i only have 1 vilespine. This is easy kill in late and ok against aggro.
One Wild Pyromancer and two FOK, somehow Pyromancer works better then just classic Thalnos. Its all against Palladins and other aggro
Also two doomsayers, two backstabs, edwin, and Valeera (the worst card in deck honestly, but i just can't remove it. Just can't).
It is very anti-aggro as you can see, but sometimes it is not enough. It looks like there is not enough of card draw, but Pick Pocket and Collector easilly solve this problem. I cut Minstrels from it coz its just TOO MUCH cards in my hand. Im literally 8-9 cards all the time. And it's not because i cant play anything and loosing. Actually while I writing it I started to think about giants. But whatever. Hope you managed to read it to the end coz my language is clumsy i believe
And just one funny moment:
I tried here Countess Ashmore for Cutlass and Cursed Castaway for some rush minion, but turned out its too slow so I cut it
Spectral Cutlass is so OP for Theft Rogue
I got that worse version of Aviana, Dollmaster Dorian and Toki. Horrible.
I guess Toki can be fun but still nothing competitve or playable, at least for now.
i got duskfallen aviana, and a golden splintergraft. rip.
Very cool! I'm loving the witchwood! I'd like to see the numbers for neutral legendaries!
I think Felsoul Inquisitor is a little underrated here.
why did my legendary have to be duskfallen avianna :'(
I know that feel bro. And you know what was my next legendary? Splintergraft. I dont even play druid, and even if i played, i definitely wouldn't play that crap. Well, i guess Splintergraft have some theoretical interesting play, but avianna is so bad.
But i guess its only questing of time when some combo with avianna and maligos will be discovered or become viable with new cards
The Compendium: Where none of us is as dumb as all of us.
Where was the voting this time? I never saw it when I visited any card's announcement, or "Click for more details" and such :(
But thanks for doing this, always a fan!
Yep, every discussion thread (links found below the revealed card in news posts) and every card page has the poll for voting. It's been that way since Whispers of the Old Gods a couple of years ago when we started doing polls.
I know this is how it's always been. Somehow this expansion I didn't see them, and looked for them. Dunno :-/
This page has really nice visuals, great job Hearthpwn!

That awkward moment when the Hearthpwn Compendium is more interesting than the Blizzard expansion...
Shudderwock is insane, they better fix that!
This is from before launch right? Which makes it kinda odd timing. We should do a follow up on this in a week or two though, just to see the difference
