Hearthstone Hotfixes for April 16 - Buggy Witchwood Card Interactions
A round of fixes have hit the Hearthstone servers focusing on some buggy card interactions with Chameleos, Voodoo Doll, Drakkari Enchanter, and Worgen Transforms.
Quote from GrizzleApr 16, 2018
- Fixed an issue where Chameleos retained the stats after copying a transforming Worgen card that would make all future cards copied maintain those stats (including Hero Cards and Weapons)
- Voodoo Doll should no longer destroy minions that have been bounced back to the hand and played again
- Fixed an issue where Voodoo Doll could destroy a hero if it targeted a Chamelos that was bounced back to hand and copied a Hero Card
- Resolved an issue where silencing a minion targeted by Voodoo Doll would visually remove the enchantment
- Drakkari Enchanter will no longer cause transforming Worgen cards to have stats of 0/0
- Resolved an issue where copies of transforming Worgen cards with different mana costs would change those costs when they transformed (Splintergraft copies, Sonya Shadowdancer copies, etc)
Love the community for giving credit and acknowledgement for those who deserve. Blizzard please take note and please don't freaking ban the poor guy again.
I think they were perfectly aware of these issues when they launched the WitchWood expansion. It would explain the quick response on their side and I believe they were working on the fixes before they were "discovered" by the community
They just want to put him in blizz jail again :P
I mean he was just banned because he used it in ranked games and published that bug. He was fine with that, this time he used in in friend games :D
Finished does not mean bug-free release.
Many developers release games (and expansions) with some bugs, as long as the issues pose no thread of exploit ability. (You cant exploit destroying your Hero after using the DK Hero card or screw up the cost of copied minions)
I do agree that it is bound to happen but in this case (I believe) the solution was already being worked on.
Apparently there's no issue with Shudderwokk that needs to be (hot)fixed.
Ggwp.
Are you kidding? did they test for any bug at all? too little too late
These were all very niche bugs and hardly surprising the devs' playtesting missed them. The amount of playtesting a team of that size can do is tiny compared to a couple of days in the hands of the entire hearthstone community.
What is more important is that they were fixed quickly.
Just insane o_O
Kinky and Hysteria posted all these bugs a full day or two before Disguised Toast, yet he gets most of the credit in these comments; he’s a sham and just ripped off their videos.
he's the most well known and his videos properly get the most views so many people tent to give his credit for spreading knowledge about the game more. For example, your youtube channel have 0 sub and you post a video with 2 views. 2 days later, a random youtuber with 1 millions sub post a video with the same content and get 200k views. There is nothing much you can do about it if people don't know you post that content first. Also, Toast spent his first few days tested it on stream, the video was uploaded later. You cannot say who goes first just because his video came out later.
I sorta figured that was just part of what made the card good..

How the hell do these scenarios show up?:D
