they could make mr 2/2's Deathrattle activate on opponents turn only; but let's wait a week or two to see how the meta settles.
Yeah, Voidlord without a Taunt would be acceptable solution. Also Dark Pact could target only "vanilla" minions or something like that to avoid destroying deathrattles...
Make it so that Dark Pact silences the target before destroying it?
Give Doomguard rush instead of charge?
Wait till the meta settles, might not be the strongest deck
Warlock is already losing N'Zoth, the Corruptor which is a big loss if ever faced cubelock
Nerfing Dark Pact? I don't think it could solves the problem, because Dark Possession incoming
I don't think N'Zoth, the Corruptor is such a big loss to this deck. Mistress of mixtures is going to wild as well and it was powerful early game, basically 4 free cards, this will hurt this deck a little bit more imo.
None of cards that you described are the problem here. The biggest problem is cards that can cheat mana. That's why Raza was nerfed and if you want to nerf lock - 2/2 guy should be nerfed instead of Pack, Doomguard or Voidlord.
I've been saying this for a while but I think it should say something like "Recruit a Demon that costs 5 or less." That would be fair but still quite good for Doomguards.
Make it so Dark Pact only works on demons. "Destroy a friendly demon" instead of "Destroy a friendly minion".
Wow, the filler cards were surprisingly interesting! I feel like there's no cards that won't ever be considerated or could be experimented with. No "vanilla" cards like Worgen Greaser that we almost always see. Sick.
Yeah, just like KnC on average the card quality is amazing for the game, there's just not that many massive exciting legendaries to get hyped over with an overarching theme like KotFT... idk i mean i can't complain cos the game is very much more interesting to play with as someone who plays hearthstone already, but in terms of getting people who have never heard of hearthstone to be interested in the game, it doesnt do much :/
Most of the cards might not look that exciting, but maybe you could get people interested in the game by telling them that they can have a lot of fun trying out all these different, unimpressive cards, because the game is very well balanced and improving as a player is more important than crafting an expensive deck that is indisputably rated "tier 1". You know, some day in the distant future.
Maybe Witchwood will contribute to that.
May not be the most powerful xpac, but damnit this is easily the best artwork xpac in my opinion
Funny thing, caught my self thinking that this expansion is on of the worst art-wise just before seeing your comment and understanding that it's one of the worst on the power level side too.
It's hard for me to compare the expansions art-wise, because no matter what I have always been completely blown away by some cards, and that always left a positive impression.
Perhaps I need to compare them all side-by-side, but so far I've got to admit I quite enjoy the art of this expansion. I started off being sceptical, because all I could see were Worgen (at the start it felt like every 2nd card revealed was one) and spooky trees, but then it turned into a lot more. Can't wait for the patch to load, because I want to have a look at golden animations for the cards that caught my eye.
By far the best day for Druids yet - no terrible, anti-synergistic, help-your-opponent cards!
2 days boys!
