Rogue Legendary & Common Card Reveal - Tess Greymane & Blink Fox
Two new cards have been revealed by Blizzard via a promotional email.
- This card functions like pre-nerf Yogg. (source)
- Battlecries of minions will not trigger. (source)
- If you previously stole a Hero card from your opponent's class, played it, and became that class, Tess plays all of your Rogue cards instead. (source)

sinister strike and assasination go also face and just enemy minion , and i think that head crack the hole game into valeera into tess graymane you could maybe make some crazy stuff happen we will see soon :D but this is pretty crazy for rogue i think
you can also activate again secrets that you have played so this card can be controled i think rly crazy
Question : neutral spells like parts from Goblins and gnomes are counted as cards from another class?
I don't think so unfortunately... Since Ethereal Peddler and Obsidian Shard don't seem to have any reaction to both spare parts and the spells created by Kazakus (they count as neutral spells), neither do the 1/2's generated by Fire Fly and Igneous Elemental .
I guess the best rule of thumb one can follow is to check wether or not a card has a "class-colored" frame...,
If it has one, (like for instance: a Drygulch Jailor and the Silver Hand Recruits it summons), it will be replayed because under normal circumstances only a palladin would be able to play it... Every class can however play a Clockwork Gnome, so spare parts generated by it probably wont count...
Witch's Cauldron --> like 5 Bloodlusts --> get a board of 2 Shadow Ragers or something because its a "playable" card --> Tess Greymane for "insane" value
the one time i actually regret disenchanting my Lilian Voss rippp
Blink Fox is crazy in Arena.
Don't know if will be good enough or not (probably not), but this is the first card I see that really hypes me and that I want to try out asap!
The more I think about this card, the more it scares me.
Remember when we all thought Yogg would be terrible/memey? And then he got nerfed cause he was OP?
This card looks fun and powerful.
I made an interesting build for Thief Rogue
what about the new legendary soulthief?
This is why I didn't dust my Lilian Voss! :D
Also super stoked to play the new dungeon mode, coz Tess Greymane is a playable hero:
Blink Fox better win cutest card art this expansion too!
I have a golden one, glad I didn't dust it too :D
Blink Fox is generally a good card - Curious Glimmerroot for Rogue, and Glimmerroot was a reasonable card. Sure, a random class card isn't as good as a card from your opponent's deck, but that's the Rogue class identity for you...
The comparisons of Tess Greymane to Yogg-Saron, Hope's End are reasonably apt, but unlike Yogg, you have a lot more control over what Tess will do later in the game. If you pick up a spell you don't want to see later, don't cast it. Later you can drop Lilian Voss to mulligan your thefts. And in cases where most of the class cards you steal/play are minions, she'll look a lot more like N'Zoth, the Corruptor.
It's hard to imagine that Burgle Rogue will be good enough to see real play. For the four new cards (Spectral Cutlass, Blink Fox, Pick Pocket, and Tess Greymane), there are four burgly card rotating out (Shaku, the Collector, Swashburglar, Ethereal Peddler, and Undercity Huckster), and a couple of them are actually pretty good. Despite all that, I think getting four burgle cards in one expansion is kind of a big deal when historically we've seen only one or two - Blizzard prints a lot of bad Rogue cards because their core set is so powerful that they can easily abuse powerful class cards from expansions. Maybe Blizzard's efforts to focus on Burgle Rogue means they're trying to branch Rogue out enough to dig themselves out of that hole. Burgle Rogue is a cool concept, and I'd love to see it get enough support to be a playable (albeit probably never top tier) deck.
And I like how the Spectral Cutlass is meant for a kind of combo Rogue where you need a lot of survivability and in the last turns you cast Tess and get a lot of value; I guess there's a new use for Valeera
im excited. burgle rogue day 1 in standard for me. all better rogue decks are better in wild anyways. you can even try play soulthief in this deck siiiick!
plus the legendary is like a yogg/n'zoth, how cool is that?
idk why the downvotes but he's right
