Witchwood Releases April 12 - Final Card Livestream on April 9
The Witchwood comes to Hearthstone on April 12! Get ready for a stream this Monday at 11 AM PDT (2 PM EDT, 8 PM CEST). Ben Brode and Day[9] will host the final event.
Quote from BlizzardThe city of Gilneas once lived in uneasy peace with the sprawling, ancient forest that looms beyond its walls. Though the wilderness was grim and forbidding, the citizens of Gilneas—being no ordinary folks—roved and hunted there without fear.
That was before a darkness began to fester in the heart of the forest. . . . Before the wicked witch Hagatha cast a dire curse!
A sunless gloom now cloaks winding trails, and gnarled branches claw hungrily at passersby. Terrified travelers speak of misshapen shadows flickering in an unearthly mist. In the witching hours, eerie figures have even been seen to stalk the narrow alleys and foggy, cobble-stoned streets of the city itself.
Foolhardy travelers who dare venture beyond the city walls after nightfall disappear into the wilderness, never to return. The Witchwood is safe for none to tread!
Beginning April 12, join the city’s brave monster hunters as they enter the forest on the trail of Hagatha the Witch in Hearthstone’s newest expansion: The Witchwood!
For a limited time* after The Witchwood arrives, log in to claim three card packs and a random class legendary card—both from the expansion—for free!
Time is running out to pre-purchase The Witchwood before the expansion launches to receive a special 50 card pack bundle, as well as the In a Dark Woodcard back and 20 more The Witchwood card packs as a bonus!
You will receive the In a Dark Wood card back and your packs as soon as your purchase is processed, and you can tear into your card packs once the expansion is live in your region.

Ah alright, I'm surprised that isn't noted in retrospect.
in the app it's april 12th in germany
Great!!!
I just gotta say props to Blizzard on the free stuff, 17 packs from the dailies (if I counted correctly) + 3 WW packs + 1 Legendary + 20 extra packs if you buy the pre-order, very generous.
Well that's your opinion, but I disagree since the game is free, and you can build one good competitive deck quite fast just by doing the daily quests plus the gold from victories. If you wanna have a lot of good decks, pay up, after all there are people who have bills to pay working to bring this game for you.
The game is over priced, as far as "one good competive deck", it really depends, I have about 3 decent tier 2 decks, and I'm ftp, but can I afford to complete the optimized cubelock, the number 1 deck? Heck no, and having to spend litterally 100s of dollars just to play around with cards seems a bit ridicoulus. I think disguised toast said it once on stream when talking about the game: "it is a very expensive game, you need to spend around 500 buck to get all the cards. Do you need all the cards? No, but it shouldnt be so damn expensive to have the chance to fool around and try different stuff.
Does anyone know when the Hall of Fame Rotation actually happens? Is it when the set releases or a separate date?
It happens when the expansion goes live
;)
I believe so. After expansion's launch, it would no longer qualify as a pre-purchase.^^
It is no longer a believe ; look it up : according to the official Hearthstone twitter account, the pre-purchase offer will expire April 11th upon midnight in each region, so Wednesday is the last day the pre-purchase offer is available no matter your region/time zone!
So, they will probably do a match between Mage and Shaman (given the lack of cards shown for these two).
Alright. Time to craft my Moltens, Coldlights, and Blocks. I think I had Moltens, but dusted them on first nerf; surprised I never pulled coldlight or ice block.
Would be nice, between now and release, we got at least one video on Monster Hunt.
I mean, yea, it's just Dungeon Run, but the website talks it up with unique hero powers and Monster Hunt only cards; so one spotlight on it would be appreciated.
Anyway, Brode and Day9 hype!
Are we getting dust from the Molten Giants even tho the nerf is getting reversed? If so, I'll have to craft them again as well!
Yea, because they're moving to Hall of Fame, we're getting dust for them.
There's a few forum posts on it. The basic of it is that if you have 0 of the cards, it's better to craft them before patch.
That way you make back your dust and then if you dust them again, you're plusing on dust.
Yes it is going to Hall of Fame, so you will be refunded full value for 2. 800 dust if you have 2 non golden, 3200 dust if you have 2 golden, 2000 dust if you have 1 golden 1 non golden. And then you can d/e them for normal dust value if you dont want to keep them.
Yes, you get the dust from the HOF, not from the Nerf/Buff to it.
finally we know when we can disenchant 350 bad cards from our 70 packs ^^
They're just following the herd (community) mentality. "OMG all cards so bad, DustWood haHAA LUL OMEGALUL" I mean it's not like 80% of all cards from most expansions are crap and never see play outside of arena, oh wait....
One week and good bye to the Standart Jade Druid... :'(
