Hey, look !
It's Kingsbane !
But it's terrible ! :D
Funnily enough, this crap was most likely the prototype for K&C's Rogue legendary weapon... And receiving abandonned-class-legendary drafts as real epics for the new expansion doesn't feel really good...
At least I guess the petty ATK could lead to assume that new weapon buffs are coming up, which would be much needed since the 4-mana weapon-pirates are rotationg out...
Come on, Blizzard.
Whole WitchWood expansion is one big April Fools' Day for Rogue. (Warrior and Shaman too, but im mostly Rogue player ;v )
''Another one bites the dust"...
The fact that they're releasing this pile of hot garbo means they're most likely to make another garbo card to "steal" oponents class cards, wich wouldn't worry me except for the fact that so far the rest of the Rogue set is also pure garbage.
TRASH
Lilian Voss value! So strong, much wow, such meme.
Actually this might not be half bad. Turn 4 you use it to finish off a damaged minion or combine it with Backstab, next turn just land Envenom Weapon on this in Burgle Rogue and good luck to your opponent ever sticking anything on the board. The biggest problem of Envenom Weapon was always that you'd either stick it on your dagger and then it goes away in two turns or you land it on a bigger weapon and then you don't need the poisonous because it kills things by its attack anyway. Here, you can extend the lifespan of your hard removal for much, much longer and possibly make Envenom Weapon worth it. The addition of Lifesteal also means you don't tank your health total nearly as fast, and can potentially add a weapon attack buff to compensate for the health loss even better, seeing as this won't generally be attacking unless it's killing a minion. Wild Burgle rogue definitely has sufficient tools to keep this weapon up for upwards of 6 turns. That's six oposing minions dead for 2 card investment and some health. Even adds value to some of the shitty cards you might end up burgling. I'd hazard a guess that it won't be a mainstream inclusion in popular Rogue decks, but it has its niche and it fits it well.
What is this "wild" thing you're talking about?
I'm not sure about that 4 mana cost.
This weapon is excellent! Just think about it (well, maybe because we are loosing Shaku, the Collector, Swashburglar and Undercity Huckster you may say that this is trash) this card has the potential to be indestructible and you can buff it with Deadly Poison and Envenom Weapon (and whatever is coming out this expansion).
This means that more "add a random card from your opponent's class" cards are coming for Rogue... RNG 4EVAR!!
why would you buff it with leeching poison? It already has lifesteal.
Like someone said, its hard to make a sweet weapon after Kingsbane, and I think they did quite a good job considering that..
.... Except; the low attack feels kinda akward, when this could be a cool design for a weapon in a deck without weaponbuffs..
Absolutely, didn't consider that tbh! :D
Grinding back life over time, and being a sustainable weapon, that can be really good! No weaponbuffs might be harsh to say from me, envenom weapon being 1 or 2 slots in the deck... This will not interact with bladflurry (especially) and doomerang, making it less flexible... And of coarse much more weak to weaponremoval..
The consistency from kingsbane comes from getting it back with shinyfinder (also being tutored), while this weapon can actually bash face/creatures for ever if you have a steal-deck, in that shell being more independant than KB.. and grindy, offering a different playstyle... Keep spinning that casino-wheel all day...
Lets look forward too this fellow Rogue players! :p
It's reassuring to see that Blizzard stays faithful to their tradition of releasing overcosted poorly statted rogue weapons.
Looks really bad when compared to Kingsbane
This suggests rogue is getting more burgle cards.... yaaay...
Yay indeed. The devs should never lose sight of the fact that most of the player base is in fact casual, and while people enjoy playing burgle decks (and I most certainly do) they should continue to trickle out burgle cards.
Cards Hearthstone loves to give me these cards when I play Wild Burgle Rogue:
Anyfin Can Happen, Level Up!, Astral Communion, Sense Demons, Treachery, Demonfuse, Dinomancy, Embrace the Shadow, Forge of Souls, Ice Fishing, Renounce Darkness, Shatter, Stolen Goods, Bestial Wrath, Primal Fusion, Smuggler's Crate, Totemic Might
