Alarm O bot is revived
Man, people are really shitting on this card huh.
I honestly don't any it being really bad. If I wonly was a Druid lover, I would make this work.
This is a card that gives your opponent the benefit of the effect first. How do you not see giving your opponent a free cast on any card they want being a bad thing?
The witchwood reveal schedule shows the name of the card as Duskfaller Avian.
The leaked card shows Duskfaller Avian'A'.
Typo or April fool?

Typo. This art and Aviana art matches.
I couldn't agree more.
Part of the problem is that this is likely the first card game most of those people have played. They don't understand that it isn't LoL or Overwatch where you can balance patch every week.
IF YOU DON'T WANT 3 MANNA 7/7S IN ONE YEAR THEY HAVE TO DOWN POWER THE GAME AFTER ROTATIONS.
You are right. But you are so offensive :((((
WHINE WHINE WHINE
Not good, but it looks like potential for fun and highlight reels. I still remember an old Amaz video from like Naxxramas when he played Millhouse Manastorm turn 2 against a Rogue who went on to double Sprint. This card is a lot like Millhouse in that your opponent can potentially do really busted things with it, but if they can't take full advantage, you'll be able to do more busted things.
I mean, if you ramp up early, drop this before your opponent can remove it, and maybe something cool happens. You only put this in a deck with lots of huge things: bigger things than the average opponent. I mean, what's a dude Paladin going to do against one of these?
Again, it's bad. But it does cool, fun things. That's how my rankings go. First I ask, "is it good or bad?" then I ask "is it interesting or boring?" Not all cards will be good, but we can hope they won't be boring, too.
Aggrodin will drop down one of their Knife Juggler - for 0 mana - sick value! I can't wait until shaman evolves his board into one of these!
Personally I like the card because it is not insanely powerful, but can be insanely fun. I use this same reasoning for Mayor Noggenfogger, which isn't that great, but gave me one of my favorite hearthstone moments when a quest mage fireballed all of his own minions, then rage quit.
If Millhouse wasn't such a tempo killer, I could see a way that you play Millhouse to draw your opponent's spells, and next turn Aviana for greater chances of survival
i want to cry :(((((
don't be a little girly
People are doing the mistake of comparing Duskfallen Aviana with Aviana, those 2 are totally different cards, and Duskfallen Aviana has a way stronger effect, that's why it's down side is affecting only a single card, and giving the same effect for your opponent.
So let's compare both Avianas:
The Aviana is a 5/5 for 9 mana that allows you to play any minion for 1 mana, have insane synergy with Kun the Forgotten King. It's downside, is that without Kun the Forgotten King or Innervate, you probably can only play a single minion into it, it also has what we call spell taunt( meaning, it will probably be killed by either a minion or a spell because it's effect is too strong to be left alive).
Now let's take a look in the Duskfallen Aviana, it's a 3/7 for 5 mana( what is really important, since sometimes it can come as early as turn 3 with a use of Wild Growth, with The Coin or Innervate) that allows you to play your first card for 0 mana. Since it can come really early, a lot of decks, cannot deal with it's stat line, making it very likely to be left alive for a turn, and that's all you need. What make this card insane, is the fact that it's effect allows you to play ANY card for free, meaning spells are also affected, so how about a Ultimate Infestation or a Malfurion the Pestilent for free, sometimes as early as turn 4~5. It's downside as mentioned, is that your opponent also get it's effect, and get it first, but again, people do not mulligan for removal most of the time even in control, so the tempo lost risk of your opponent cheating a giant thing than killing Duskfallen Aviana, is very unlikely to happen to the point it's worth to run it.
Against Aggro, this card is just insane, this literally wins you the game most of the time, since your opponent is playing cheap stuff, so getting it for free, is kinda useless, not only he has to kill it, but Agro to trade into a 3/7 it's kinda rough .
So, do not compare both Avianas, they are not even trying to do the same, one is really good in Big Druid, the other, I would say, probably in a Control kind of Druid.
except your opponent gets the free card first since summoning duskfallen aviana counts as your first card for that turn...so if they have ANY removal regardless of cost, its going bye bye.
Is this Blizzard’s way of promoting Wild, where you can play with the "real" Aviana?!
With this very two-edged,which can be used by the opponent and then be destroyed(no like Temporusmwhich effect will be avaliable even if he will be destroyed) effect its must have 10 hp.
By the way why no comments about pretty thick TIGHTS.
P.S. There may be unexpected, comeback games vs shaman now
very two-edged effect*
Giving mages a free ultimate hadouken isn't a bad idea.
