Oh my, I already love that new taunt card. Imagine this being recruited or summoned through other shenanigans. Also, because it's a neutral beast, it can be discovered in wild through that League Spider whose name I forgot because I rarley use it.
thx, dude. Here, take your upvote :)
Ikr, the second I saw it on the reveals page it looked like it'd have a completely insane perspective changing never-actually-going-to-see-play effect, and it just turns out to be summon one of your beasts back. Doesn't even make that much thematic sense.
Though I guess it adds this expansion's underlying theme of amazing art having incredibly bland effects.
Druid in a nutshell
theme makes sense to me, reminds me of zelda - when the blood moon rises all the monsters respawn
same for me, i expexted some awesome card! a good aoe for hagatha shaman...
This expansion is favored a lot for control archetype.
the game always favors control in design, because aggro is a self designing deck type that just uses cheep cards at the basic level. a good early minion with decent stats, is worth a spot in an aggro, even if it has a control effect. that just helps.
Witching Hour is good with: Grizzled Guardian, Hadronox, Malorne (Wild), Charged Devilsaur, Giant Anaconda, Tyrantus and Witchwood Grizzly. (And Barnabus the Stomper after finishing the quest.)
btw: There need to be a way to cheat out Witchwood Grizzly.
how would that work with Treachery dude ?
its a battlecry so would not work with treachery if that what your saying and to add to your list Barnabas :P
OMG My most hyped card just for the infamous name alone. I knew from the start that it would be a spell and expected it to be like warlock/shaman spell though. Properly never use it but will craft golden anyway. I think it's like Big Hunter now. You don't have to play any beast except for Hadronox and Witching Hour will 100% resummon Hadronox then bring all of your taunt back. Taunt druid gonna be a thing? Properly not but we are having many good taunt here
Polymorph and Hex as well, especially if something like that became a meta deck. Good against Warlock too, which we already assume will be good. Still, I think this card will go off on the intended beast often.
I wonder if the Grizzly gets damaged 1 point per each card in your opponent's hand or if the total health would be discounted... Because if it is like that and it gets silenced, it would grow to 12 health again.
Nice card btw!
If I am not misteaken it reduces the max up of the card (like a reverse twilight drake) just judging from injured bladmasters text.
Lady in White + Witchwood Grizzly = 5 mana 12/x card, worth it ^^
Great, great, great cards! Slow down the meta is ALWAYS good. <3
1. Play Control Druid.
2. Put in a shitton of insane Taunts (Lich King and Stuff)
3. Let Hadronox be the only beast
4. Play Witching Hour x2
5. Rank 1 Legend
Only Weasel Tunneler can stop this but he rotates out xD
