hm, no, it's kind the same effect, but underpowered compared to Chameleos because it can't tranform in other thing but a minion, if Chameleos was a neutral card, it would be power creep next to Shifter
No it wouldn't. They are completely different effects (though they are similar, I see why you keep thinking they are the same). If the opponent has no minions in hand, then the chameleon is a 1/1. Shifter Zerus can be a 10 mana 12/12 deathwing in that same scenario
Chameleos can transform into spells too.
This is design wise the funnest card and most in depth as well. the concept of being able to see an enemy's card each turn can change how you play very harshly.
Love it
So... what happens when a chameleos sees a transormed chameleos?
insta-craft for me, Looks to be super fun.
I believe it'll show up as the card Chameleos is transformed into.
So why isn't this a rogue legendary?? Priest has been on top, throw Rogue players a bone lol Very cool card, I'd wager it has potential of being a meta creating tool for burgle priest
Priest can steal cards from hand, it's part of their class identity. Rogue creates random cards from the opponent's class.
Should be called more like the spy. Great ad getting information of you opponents hand. Very interesting mechanic.
Blizzard?
Blizzard, we need to talk!
I'd have issues with this card regardless, but I can't help but point out that Priest has been on top for quite some time.
This is Patches levels of broken and you give it to Priest? Really? REALLY?!
This is not ok. Knowing your opponents cards is a BIG advantage. I'm really-really mad that this card got printed.
This has a lot of potential, but don't underestimate the cost of holding a card in your hand. And keep in mind it only tells you one card a turn (which may be the same).
Excuse me,as a rogue player i jealous of that card so much; both text and art.Amazing art.Super jealous.wow
I love it, going to be crafting this in golden on day 1. Auto include for any Priest deck with the exception of Big Priest.
I do think it will be pretty mediocre against Aggro, in the same way that Drakonid Operative can often be a vanilla 5/6 as the discover picks you get are nearly useless.
But against anything else, there's a lot of mind game potential, your opponent can hesitate knowing that you've got a glimpse into what they're planning.
the chameleon itself looks like it would be friends with <snowflipper penguin>
Priest comin' out on top with Legendaries this expansion imo.
Lady in White is cool and all but it's not really a competitive card. Chameleos Is amazing tho :)
Why didn't Hunter get a cool usable beast legendary for once... If we got this card we could buff it to a 2/2 with our 10 mana 8/8...
nice
Best card yet, this drunk guy says so
