Mr. Crowley, what went wrong in your head? *heavy-metal music made by an electric guitar*
Turn 7 bring him out to finish a Voidlord then cast Rampage. He'd be 9/6, then 11/7 after tapping a Voidwalker.
Oh hey, The Boogeymonster but good. Not great, but at least good.
Yeah I think it's playable, but I wonder in what deck would it fit... Tempoish warrior?
It may fit in an odd control warrior. It can remove a small minion and leave a somewhat threatening body.
See, that's a much harder question. There are lots of cards which are individually good. This, for example, would be a great card to get off some "gain a random minion" effect, and will almost surely be a strong Arena pick.
Seems worth at least trying in a standard style of control warrior. The turn 10 play of Brawl into Crowley the survivor seems pretty solid, and in some games, perhaps you use whirlwinds to clear off most things turn 4, and just have one minion to deal with turn 5.
This card is actually worth considering, but the question is will it see any play? It personally think it's a good card, but I don't think it's enough until Warrior gets other cards to make them rise the ranks.
I think this will see play even more if you for example combine it with the minion that summon 3 1/1 on the other side and a taunt minion on your side,
The correct card to compare this to is Fire Elemental.
Advantages: Darius costs one less, gets bigger each turn if the opponent cannot play around it or kill it, can deal up to four damage, and synergizes with both Rush-related and Damage-related cards
Disadvantages: Fire Elemental’s three damage has no target restriction, it has a bigger body (6/5 vs 6/3 to 6/6 for Darius), and synergizes with elemental cards.
That’s pretty balanced.
I believe Blizzard just don't want too much "combo" decks in the game, because people complain a lot about decks that just stall the game and win with an OTK, it's usually a really frustrating way to lose. So they are being really careful with the Charge mechanic.
I don't think we'll see charge disappear completely, but I do think they are (rightfully) being much more careful with it. Rush is a way to allow minions doing something immediately without risking unforeseen OTK combos.
This is LITERALLY The Boogeymonster but with Rush and less stats. This is a WORSE The Boogeymonster. I never thought I'd see the day.
I never thought I'd see the day that someone would misunderstand mana and trade advantage so horribly.
At first it looks terrible, but as I imagine the plays going on around turn 5, this card looks actually very playable, only time will tell if though.
That is like saying Leeroy Jenkins is a WORSE Magma Rager lol
Guys, we all were hyped fore Bolvar Fireblood, saying it's not bad, it's not bad, when in reality it was a reskinned Gurubashi Berserker...
Thig guy is a bomb lobber, but if your opponent has a 5 drop you even lose the body,
Looking at worst case scenario is a bad way to evaluate cards.
Obviously you don't want to use this to remove big minions, but it can take out a 4/4 and leave a 6/2 that threatens to keep growing. That's not terrible for 5 mana.
Where's the "And gains rush again"?
