Finally... welcome to the Defias Cleaner meta xD
Dat art work though!
That's not so good as many think, first because Priest doesn't have something like Dark Pact to istantly trigger it (so the opponent has a whole turn to counter it) and second because Priest doesn't have the draw power of Warlock so it may not have any Obsidian Statue in hand at the right moment to cheat it out.
it doesn't return this card to your hand though.
but with the text written on it, it dossent have to, for the mentioned combo to work?
it doesnt pull the card from your hand, it just summons a copy of it, so you would still have a copy in your hand to trigger the deathrattle..
Or am i missing something here?
It says summon from your hand, not summon a copy from your hand. It works similarly to Voidcaller.
I hope some new legendary will replace N'Zoth in order to make deathratle builds more reliable. Of course maybe with some different effect, but powerful. Maybe N'Zoth will be one of the most missed card in standard for me.
I think you people are overhyping this. It's nowhere near as good as Possessed Lackey because Priest doesn't have the draw to get Obsidian Statue in Hand reliably and they also have no way of popping this themselves (unless you count SW: Death, in which case, why not just play Obsidian Statue by itself?) so it's easy silence/polymorph fodder (or it gets popped and they just poly your statue). It has anti-synergy with Shadow Essence and if you were to run it in some sort of Eternal Servitude deck you'd have completely leave out early game minions while stalling until turn 6 and hope you're not completely overwhelmed by then (which, I know, is waht Big Priest is doing right now, but Big Priest right now has Barnes and way more boardclears and healing effects).
there's not even N'zoth as a win condition. What's your endgame exactly? Eventually you'll just run out of Obsidian Statues.
I was about to say, "oh wow another card to accelerate towards the Corrupted Healbot OTK" but realized this could be summoned from Twilight call r.i.p
Eh at least it'll be cheating out obsidian statue
Quest priest finally worth running? Maybe not in standard cuz N'zoth rotating out which is a big deal cuz you lose out on a very strong late game but wild it might be broken af the deck can run Reno as well
Have you noticed that most meta cards for Priest are Shadow themed?
Heck, i can't even distinguish Priest from Warlock anymore...
This guy is the corpse version of Barnes.
At least, its cheating power seem to be diminished.
Probably because they purposely want to keep the game dumbed-down as much as possible since dumb kids are who waste the most money on an entirely free game. Control warrior dead, Control Paladin dead, Control Priest dead. Strong defensive decks that go along with the pacifist light theme of the priest would make the game too complicated for the little kids that only know how to think one dimensionally of attacking by either spamming the board with minions or direct face damage. This has been reduced to a mobile game designed to last no longer than it takes to sit on the toilet.
What's the other option -- heal your opponent to death?
Yes actually, it is called going to fatigue, when you don't care at all about damaging the other opponent and just remove all their minions. A strange concept I know for all you face players that can't stand a game lasting longer than turn 4.
So disappointing that this expansion is Halloween themed... again. We already had naxramus that was Halloween, plus the haunted house karazan, the infested zombie creatures in old gods, the cursed mummies from league of explorers, and the vampire deathknights from frozen throne. I don't play world of warcraft, but I'd imagine the worlds are more diverse than what we've been getting.
I don't agree with you. Naxx was undead for sure, but nowhere near Halloween. Kara was demons and PARTY, and fun. LoE, yea, it was undeady, but what do you expect from the treasurehunts.
I get your point, but there many expansions, where undeads were nowhere. In WoW you had many zones without undead theme, but prety much every one had some at least (ghosts or something).
I always thought warcraft was supposed to be medieval fantasy themed. Now it is just some random period in time mixed with halloween characters. I wouldn't be surprised if a future expansion is in outer space (with aliens as ghosts of course)
"Orca" so like literally jumping the shark. I wouldn't call it lore at this point, more like rambling stories from of a crack head.
Look kid, you clearly know NOTHING about WoW, so next time just go watch a youtube video instead of wasting ppl's time
