Calm your Beards :D We don`t know all new Mage Cards yet... it`s very likely that Mage gets a Echo Spell.
Seems pretty ok to me. Just immagine : you are turn 8/9 in a tempo mage deck with Aluneth equiped. You draw a bunch a cards. You play this + frostbolt + glyph + spell from glyph. You have a 4 minions board, your opponent is probably already afraid of your burst alone to his face but he also has to deal with your board that you created with basically one card.
Obviously not a turn 4 play, unless they print a good 0 mana spell and you have the coin + arcane projectiles. Can be even better if another low-cost friendly card is printed (like the old 2/4 I dont remember his name you know what I mean).
Tempo mage loose a lot, so if the deck is still playable, and not going the odd-cost way, I can see this card get into it.
And don`t forget this Expansion is all about Echo ... so i would be surprised if there is no Echo Mage Spell.
4 mana 3/3 is not that weak? What?
if you knew how tempo mage worked in the past playing tons of spells in a single turn to activate Flamewaker effect then you should know the power level of that card
Yes, but this card is no flamewaker. A 3 Mana 2/4 is so much stronger then a 4 Mana 3/3. Also flamewaker protected itself by killing enemy minions. At 1 spell this card isn't really worth it, at 2 it's pretty insane. I do think that if old school tempo mage comes back this will definitely be a part of it, but I don't think this is a card strong enough to push the archtype by itself.
now this is a card
Cards like this make me miss Flamewaker
Don't miss flamewaker. It's total BS.
Sometimes I think that this way of showing cards are very dumb. We receive 5 cards per day, without any connection or synergy. Instead of showing us all mage or other class cards at once in order to make at least full picture. Right now I would say, why the hell we need this? But I haven't full picture.
:) But honestly, seems like pretty stupid filler card again. Some random is good, but since when mage need random two drops minion. Medivh and Atiesh are much different. You play them with big spells or after some mass board clear and it is great value. I would prefer if this gave us random 2 mana cost spell in our hand :D.
It`s a Card made for Aggressive Mages (most low budget decks are aggressive so thats why it`s a common). You only need to cast 1 Spell to make it more than cost effective (it`s 1/2 from vanilla 1 spell will give you ~2/2). For example Turn 4 Crow Coin Cabal Counterspell now you have 3/3 2/1 and 2 ~ 2/2 /2/2. Just cuz it`s 4 mana doesnt mean you have to play it on curve and compare it with other vanilla stuff.
Isn't it more fun to come up with a synergy by yourself rather than having it spoon-fed to you? Moreover, this way to introduce them allows us to learn/appreciate each card rather than forgetting most of them until they're being used on us in battle and then building the same exact net-deck.
Alliance SASATT.
The comment section is like: AHHHH, THE END IS NEAR, WE WILL DIE! Because Doomsayer is the only fcking two drop in the game.
The card is trash btw. 4 mana 3/3 that does nothing on its own, are you kidding me? You can't play it on turn 4, it'll get killed for sure, and later in the game the effect is weak. Even if your plan is to save the raven for later turns to flood the board with 2-cost garbage, where will you get so many low-cost spells? The mage just doesn't have them! All low-cost spells will have surely been cast by the point this card hits the board. Crowd hype stops brains from working for too many people.
You tell me about it... Sometimes I wonder if people are genuinely thininking with common sense.
I heard you like doomsayer cuz that's how you get doomsayer.
