Inadequate loss of tempo in order to get a coin on such a heavy condition? I do love coins in rogue but surely not at the cost of winning.
And why the fudge is this spell epic?!
This is an insane "amazing art" - " bland effect" ratio.
Paladin - 4 mana epic card - draw three cards (two or less cost minions) and put them direcrly into the battlefield.
Rouge - this....
Epic filler
A non combo card that allows you to combo. Nice!
That card is great! It's too bad the 4th line of text doesn't appear in the image.
" And if it deals the exact amount of damage, then add a second Coin to your hand." (With less words ofc.)
deal 3 damage= 2 mana. ok good.
add a coin to ur hand = 2 mana!!! really? is it a joke or mistake?
tomb pillager gave us free coin. another useless rogue card.
is not that add a coin to your hand equals 2 mana.
sometimes add a coin to you equals 2 mana, even better
yeah its true
Flanking Strike summon a 3/3 wolf = if that kills it, add a coin to your hand.
Guys calm down, this is literally only the 2nd rogue card revealed for the expansion.
I'm pretty sure this will show up as one of the worst cards in the community compendium, and end up being pretty decent.
^ Coldlight Oracle is gone, so Auctioneer might see a comeback, which you have to feed spells.
Maybe it will.. but why is it an epic?
Be happy that it's an epic if you don't expect to be using it? More common spots left for the good ones :)
I can't believe how terrible numbers there are with this card. This card could be played in actuallconstructed enviroment if it was any different:
3 mana cost instead of 4 - frosbolt 2 + coin (1) so basicly like frostbolt but has condition and not freeze. Great
4 mana deal 4-5 add a coin - it would be at last more powerful, 3 kills barely anything and wasting prep for it in early turns is so not worth it.
4 mana deal 3 add a coin and draw one card - conditional cycle and with some other bonuses, decent. You can't play 4 mana deal 3 dmg in the game when warlocks play double doomguards on 5 or double 3/9 void daddy.
Remember people that prep actually take a slot in your deck, using it just so it could cost one is very not worth it. Sure, on auctioneer turns you do it but that's because of the cycle effect not because you put prep in deck to make it reasonable cost. Because in this form it's defenitly overcosted.
We had tomb pilliger, it's nowhere close.
It's not the card i hate but the rarity. Both flaking strike and tomb pillager is common and this is an epic and im my opinion its worse than both.
i agree, non sense epic cards and filler epic cards are obscene and frustrating, the only serve as a dust loss. i remember opening 3 Deathaxe Punisher in my kotf pre purchese...
on the other hand, terrible epiics mean less crafting costs for the average player. I'd rather open an epic I won't use than not open an epic that I actually need.
Well, on some happy occasions you can do Preparation, WANTED!, two coins and 10/10 Edwin VanCleef on turn one, also killing what your opponent played on his turn. On other occasions it may be a bit trickier to play, but may be still viable.
