I just crafted an Hobgoblin and suddenly this and the cript lord are looking like real fun.
Booty trash garbage in arena.
Why are the stats so bad for a symmetric effect?
Mediocre at best. Except for the obvious mill druid (lul), this pales in comparison to cards like Jeeves or Mana Tide Totem. I feel a more balanced version would only allow you to draw a card, but with lower stats (like 1/5)
I really don't see big hand druid working, much like how freeze shaman didn't work out... they really need to add much better incentives to having a big hand than simply summoning more wisps (Wispering Woods). I guess we'll see.
If Druid doesn’t get an even cost legendary to group with the three even cards already shown, I’d be surprised.
the minions you can summon on the board and amount of cards in your hand help you summon the giants from the classic set
ohh w8 coldlight oracle is rotateing and idol too so this is totaly useless card?
Slowlight Oracle
You know, because it costs more, and draws cards more slowly? Right?
Jeeves is the closest comparison. This guy never draws anyone two or three cards, but he also never draws zero. Jeeves triggered at the end of each player's turn, so there are certainly some differences, but overall I think this is a very solid card for agro/token Druid.
Ah I knew i would still be able to play mill. Thanks team 5. At 4 mana it perfectly feet with the Oaken Summons, Astral Tiger, Ironwood Golem, Grizzled Guardian, Spiritsinger Umbra, Drakkari Enchanter and finally Ixlid, Fungal Lord / Faceless Manipulator / Carnivorous Cube to create copies.
I wouldn't be too optimistic about that working out
This seems like a fun deck.
Against aggro, they can just ignore it and use the effect, against warlock, well they can just get the free draw anyway, really bad card as it draws for your opponent and attack is so low.
they really make the reveal of one card seem interesting. Perhaps you should all take a lesson from us. I also agree that this card serves as a nice replacement for coldlight oracle. Your opponent has to decide to keep it on the board to benefit from the extra card per turn or to kill it. Very interesting. Coldlight oracle had no choice and often benefitted the opponent, this card has options.
Except that is a very easy decision to make. 1 attack is not threatening in any way whatsoever. On top of that this will always benefit your opponent considerably more than it benefits you. You get a card at the end of your turn when you can't do anything anymore and your opponent gets a card at the start of their turn and thus more options from the beginning of their turn. Why would anyone get rid of a 1/6 that's taking up a minion slot on your opponents side of the board?
They will have to deal with it after 1-2 buffs and the danger of the druid running Crazed Alchemist - the card fits perfectly in aggro druid since you don't really care about the opponent drawing cards.
An aggro deck running a 4 mana 1/6 is not going to happen, especially not one that can draw your opponent board clears. Aggro does care about giving your opponent free cards. You want to finish someone off quickly as aggro so they dont get their stabilizer cards. There are better cards to use buffs on that don't require running a 2 mana 2/2 to be acceptable.
because druid has always been known to buff that 1/1 minion to 6/6 or more..sheesh. use your brain much?
