March 26th certainly has come early. Four new cards were revealed alongside a video today where Dean Ayala talks about Even & Odd cards in Hearthstone. Mike Donais has further confirmed that not every class is getting a card which works with even or odd cards. (Source)

I hope there are odd cost synergies for shaman, because I really want to play with Totemic Slam at the beginning of the game.
Kinda funny. First I was thinking "yeah, Shaman has some pretty good even cost cards", then I realized almost all of them go to Wild now. Jade Claws, Jade Lightning,Aya Blackpaw, Maelstrom Portal, Devolve, Thing from Below, Flamewreathed Faceless... perfectly planned, I guess.
Whatever the new hero card is going to be will probably synergize very strongly with the "even cost" playstyle. It's defininetlynot a mistake that the new hero is 8 and the DK is 5 so they wont be run in the same deck usually if ever
Dont know what to think about odd/even-cost "mechanic"!
Run The Darkness to screw with odd decks or Beneath the Grounds to screw with even decks
That wouldn't get rid of the hero power upgrade though
It would not, but it would get rid of all other effects in the future of the game.
I'm actually a little disappointed to see such specific support for the new Even/Odd legendaries. It takes ALOT out of the whole idea of creating a puzzle for players to solve, especially if they just juice the tie-in cards to make it suboptimal NOT to play that way...
Without having a couple synergy cards it wouldn't have been worth it for most of the classes to reduce themselves to using half the card pool and at least none of the synergy cards are pushing a deck archetype (maybe the priest one is) , so there will still be a lot to figure out while deckbuilding.
I was really sad when Kill Command did only 3 damage.
Weird how they are all beasts....
Blizzard's forced archetypes again?
I hope it wont end up being waste of time like freeze shaman and discard warlock.
As the developer said 18 new base decks are enable just by 2 cards. This is not "forcing archetypes", on the contrary this is a good design. Of couse some of the decks will be much stronger just like Keleseth is available for 9 classes but only Rogue was top tier with it.
Only the cute cards are revealed today.
Love the art on cards so far !!
OK so I accepted the power creep a long time ago but seriously what's gonna happen to all the old cards which are basically unplayable anymore?
