March 26th certainly has come early. Four new cards were revealed alongside a video today where Dean Ayala talks about Even & Odd cards in Hearthstone. Mike Donais has further confirmed that not every class is getting a card which works with even or odd cards. (Source)

This card design takes so many possibilities away from deckbuilding, sadly. Also, i really don't like being railroaded by the designers. I am concerned that this is another huge step towards casualstone.
It is a game marketing as simple to play, easy to understand. How some people complain about Hearthstones difficulty without knowing this is beyond me.
@WinmangSL: Wrong. Kazakus decks OPEN UP possibilities, they do not restrict you in which card you implement, only in its amount and therefore is a lot better design. Quests don't restrict you either, they just suggest approaches in deckbuilding that are more efficient than others, but they do not force you to anything, you can still tech in a lot of different stuff. Takin away 50% of the cardpool as possible additions to your deck on the other hand is simply terrible design.
The only upside about that mechanic that i have found so far is, that it might cripple tempo decks a lot, cause powerful curves are hardly possible in an even/odd deck. And a meta, in which midrange/tempo is weak is rare, but very appreciated.
We don't yet know all of the cards The Witchwood will give us, but I'd have to say those cards need to be pretty dang good for Black Cat and Gloom Stag to see play.
To play Gloom Stag you have to give up Ultimate Infestation, Swipe, Wrath, Wild Growth, and Spreading Plague. You get to still use Nourish and Malfurion the Pestilent. I think the first group of cards significantly outweighs the second there. Also, all you get is a 4/7 taunt for your trouble. To play Black Cat you have to give up Fireball, Frostbolt, Polymorph, Primordial Glyph, and Arcanologist. Pseudo-Azure Drake is good, but I don't think it's that good.
To be honest, after looking at what each class has in Classic + the 3 Year of the Mammoth expansions, we better get some really good new cards, otherwise I just don't see how any of these odd/even cards will be all that viable. Most classes have too many good cards at each cost (odds and evens) that giving any of them up means the benefit needs to outweigh the consistency you get from just being able to play a normal deck. Also, most of the existing themes of each class have cards you'd need at both odd and even costs, so you would be unable to play these cards in conjunction with those themes.
Well, technically Gloom Stag becomes a 4/8 taunt, but still...
I'm starting to think they introduced this way to build deck to soon in the new rotation. This expansion feels more like the mid year one once you have the first big expansion of the year out. I just cannot see players taking bad cards when there are perfectly acceptable proven cards to be played. The card pool is also at its smallest at the beginning of the year so it makes it even worse for card choice.
Oh boy, I love spending gold to open cards that are useless unless I also pay 1600 dust for an associated legendary. Whee
YAAA!!! I'm hyped too!!!!!! gon Be GOOD! EXPANSION!!!!!!!!!! YAAAA!!!!!! SPRING BREAK!!!
I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict that you'll receive either genn or baku for free at the start of the expansion (at random).

All of these cards look so magical... I can feel the heart of expansion.
Glitter Moth + Void Ripper = cancer.
An 8-mana two-cards Bloodlust that requires a board of minions and no even cost cards in a priest deck, cancer?
Is it possible to have few cards that are odd, say for example the quest, since it starts in your hand, and have the rest to be even, and still activate the having only even cost cards in deck? (ofc this WON'T have THE LEGENDARY)
Not for the legendaries.
I believe they replied on this before and said: 1= odd so quest won't work with even decks- only odd decks.
