You can find the official Hearthstone page for The Witchwood here.
New Cards
The cards are not yet in our database. We're working on getting the site ready for the new expansion.
- The Hero Power upgrade from Baku the Mooneater is the same as the one from Justicar Trueheart. (Source)
Card Backs
There are two new card backs. The first is available with the expansion pre-order and the second is a reward from Monster Hunt.
Monster Hunt
- Works like Dungeon Run in that you play a hero against bosses and build a deck as you progress.
- Does not use normal Hearthstone heroes, this has four unique characters.
Below are pictures of the Cannoneer, Houndmaster, Time Tinkerer, and Tracker heroes from Monster Hunt.
New Gameboard
As always, Hearthstone is getting a new game board with the expansion.
Nah, the wording sets the cost of the hero power to 1 for both of them. If either said "your hero power costs 1 less" it would work.
Genn specifies starting hero power, so shouldn't work after DK
Does Azalina South thief's battlecry work if your hand is empty? Or do you need to have the same amount of cards as your opponent?
Yup, it works like Divine Favor.

Basically, Azalina works as a kind of Divine Favor, but instead of drawing, you get their cards and delete your actual hand
Cards looks totally useless, so sad.
I didnt see Start of Game text though, so may not so useless. I thought it was Battlecry...
Cool, I'm liking the Victorian vibe.
EXCELLENT new card designs! :)
Pleasantly surprised :)
Question. If you put Baku and Malchazaar in the same deck, and Malchazaar puts an even cost minion into your deck, will Baku's effect get to go off before that or will that cancel out Baku's effect?
I think both effect trigger at the same time so Baku will work. Or may be it following the alphabetical order like Call of the wild (Huffer -> Leok -> Misha) and Baku will trigger first then the Prince.
Those both sound reasonable so I am assuming you're right, either way I will enjoy suffering through playing that awful deck~
Can't wait to see the full list! (>^^)>
The Hero Power upgrade from Baku the Mooneater is the same as the one from Justicar Trueheart.
what has "witchwood" to do with warcraft? can somebody enlighten me...if its random stuff..ill quit this game
You’re kinda weird.
Well there is a place in Highmountain called Witchwood. But this looks like it has a Gilneas/Silverpine vibe to it.
HS just does it's own thing now and makes new, zany places/characters with a Warcraft vibe. That's the way things have been going for a while now. If you want a serious, mature card game go play Magic or Gwent.
They can just add those new characters, elements in world of warcraft later (as NPC side quest). It has been like that for a while you know. I believe there is a place called witchwood in wow too.
