Wild Cards Return to Arena for Wildfest - A Three Week Long Hearthstone Event
The Arena is Standard no more, at least for the next three weeks! Wildfest has begun which means Blizzard has cranked things up to 11 and all our "favourites" have returned to play. Here's the event rundown.
- Wildfest run from February 19 until March 11.
- Wild cards have returned to Hearthstone's Arena.
- We will see two different Tavern Brawls available during different weeks in the event.
- There are no free Arena runs, but there is a free entry into one of the upcoming brawls.
The Wildfest Tavern Brawls
We have two Tavern Brawls we will see during Wildfest. As of posting, we don't know when either will go live but without a doubt it will be on a Wednesday.
- Venture into the Wild - A brawl which contains pre-built wild-format decks that you can queue into the brawl with.
- The Wild Brawliseum - A brawl which is a mix between a Heroic Brawl and an Arena run.
The Wild Brawliseum
This Tavern Brawl is a cross between what we're used to seeing for Heroic Brawls and bits of Arena.
- You will pay an entry fee equal to an Arena run to take part in this Tavern Brawl.
- Using cards in your own collection, you build a deck for the wild format.
- Like Arena or a Heroic Brawl, once you lose 3 games in the Wild Brawliseum you are out.
- Rewards will be given to players based on their performance with their deck, equal to the Arena reward structure as seen below.
- Your first run of this brawl will be free! There's nothing to lose!

never gonna see them in standard since they are expansion cards and blizzard would never do that
So i didnt get free arena invite on two of my accounts. But i got the ticket in one of my account where i had unfinished arena run.
Is this normal? i thought everyone gets free ticket.
As far as i remember, there were no announcments about free tickets for wild arena. Only one free ticket for Wild Brawliseum.
You get the free ticket as a refund of the unfinished arena run.
Rank 25 comment.
No need to hate bruh, got confused between brawl and arena event.
PS: i am not a rank 25 player.
When does it start EST?
A free pseudo-Heroic Brawl, but no free weekly arena runs?
Feels less generous than previous arena events. I don't spend money and gold on arena, but I really enjoy it when I either decide to splurge the 150 gold once in a blue moon or I get to enjoy a few free runs from events. Now that brawl has gone wild, I have to pay up or watch highlight videos from streamers.
One free arena run once a week for three weeks seems so little to give.
TIL you could get legendaries from arena rewards.
Am I the only one who never knew or received one??
i got 3 legendaries from arena rewards.
But im playing from open beta and i have 13257 arena wins with 7+ average.
So chances to get legendary from arena rewards are pretty much negligible
I've made a topic yestarday on HS Forum on battle.net if you wondering (https://eu.battle.net/forums/en/hearthstone/topic/17618112062)
Makes me want to start playing Arena again but I'll probably end up 0-3 and shame quit
I know the pain :'(
same here, got 11 wins once... don't remember what I got, but surely no legendary
Watch shaddy Bunny's videos, he is a great arena player and you could learn how to draft better from him.
I don't get this. Does everyone have the memory of a goldfish? Wild Arena is nothing new, we had Wild Arena the whole time until things finally got so bad that they had to switch it to Standard to limit the card pool. Wild Arena was a shitshow, there were so many cards that there was no point playing around anything, and most decks were just a random conglomeration of stats cause god forbid you get any synergy between any of your pieces. Now, a once in a lifetime opportunity, a blast from the past, for a limited time only: you can go back to playing something that we know sucked...what's there to be happy about? The Brawls, sure, those are nice. But the Arena?
It'll be fun for a couple of days.
