Blizzard's Off-Meta Deck Spotlight - Feb 16, 2018
Once again, Blizzard has posted three Legend decks with above average win rates that you should give a go! Each of the deck this week features a Death Knight with the Hunter deck being particularly interesting due to it being the fifth best deck on the ladder.
Samerebro's Recruit Warrior [70% WR]
Samerebro from the EU server, who utilized the new “Recruit” mechanic to achieve an impressive 70% win rate with his control-focused Warrior deck. If you can manage to recruit Grommash Hellscream by attacking with Woecleaver, then follow up with Sudden Genesis and Inner Rage, you’ll be able to deal 31 damage in a single turn!

Romchit's Elemental Shaman
Showing great success on the EU server is Romchit, who managed to pull off a 67% win rate with this Elemental-themed Shaman deck. Combining cards that put multiple minions into play with Shaman’s ability to replay and upgrade these minions helps to secure solid board control and eventually, victory!

Fifth Best Deck on Ladder - I Will Hunt you Down!
We have a Hunter deck that has proven successful for several different players. Currently the fifth best deck on the ladder, this arsenal combines Secrets and early control to clear the way for some very dangerous beasts, such as Savannah Highmane, King Krush, or one of Deathstalker Rexxar’s Zombeasts.

tsk tsk ripoff
Blizzard, stop adding some random employee's name to these decks. Give the real builders some credit. The warrior list is from Fibonacci. The shaman list is from Tars. And the hunter list is from Kibler. They have all been on stream building and playing these exact lists. Give credit where credit is due.
The credit is being given to the players hitting legend with them not to the original creators. Blizzard doesn't have easily accessible data on who innovates what.
Only missing snake trap and kathrena for the Hunter list. I am still sitting on my Nerf dust. Is kathrena worth it to craft?
I got Kathrena in a pack a couple weeks ago and I have to say it's a pretty fun card. If you enjoy the hunter class and want to try out the "big beasts" archetype there are a lot of fun decks that feature Kathrena. You have the deck listed above, a "combo" Kathrena deck with cube and charged devilsaurs, or can go really nuts with Seeping Oozeling, Silver Vanguard and 8 drops for a real "big hunter" type list. If you don't like playing hunter I wouldn't go for it but it's one of my favorite classes and I've been enjoying Kathrena a lot!
no
Aren't the Secretkeepers in the Hunter deck just dreadful? That card was barely good enough when Secret Paladin was the best deck.
Problem with Kath is you lose all early game options hunter would normally play. Secrekeeper might actually be the bet turn 1 play.
Needless to say this says more about the deck's early game.
Far from it. You almost always drop a secret on turn 2 and I've won a number of games trading up with secret keepers until the powerful lategame.
Hearthpwn please, Samerebro stated himself on this very homepage that it's Fibonacci's deck:

Edit: I played it a bit within the last few days and it is a lot of fun, but very hard on ladder as it has many weaknesses (many taunts prevent combo, dirty rat can pull grommash, secret mage is too often too quick and murloc paladin requires many early answers) I guess it is THE priest killer, but that's pretty much it unfortunately.
For everyone who opened the required legendarys: defintely try it out it is much fun!
I feel curious about this Shaman Deck, look so wierd.
Had the same feeling. Unfortunately I'm missing both Thrall and Grumble and using 3200 dust just to try out a deck which may or may not work is a bit expensive. :(
Played against that today. Was super chill. Did almost nothing til turn 6, then started dropping Jades and died. I was still curious, checked hsreplay.net and it has like 47% winrate. Not sure what that's about.
I actually crafted King Krush today and put him in a meta deck.
This is the best timeline.
Been playing Violet Wurm in a few different shaman decks recently. The group of cards like this are very effective in the current meta with so many decks playing mass board clears. The potential for the punish after failing to clear these completely is great.
actual winrates of these exact decks on hsreplay:
warrior: 42%
shaman: 47%
hunter: 57%
The hunter deck by the way has been already fairly popular and is percentage-wise about as off-meta as big spell mage, kingsbane rogue or jade druid
Pretty sure the win rates are for specific players piloting the decks not the general public. I remember a time when Patron warrior was around 45%, before the Warsong Commander nerf.
