Proven Top Tier Decks from the Hearthstone Pros
We've got four great decks to share with you that various pros of the game have been playing up in Legend with great success. If you aren't already seeing these decks, expect them real soon!
Apxvoid's Fungalmancer Secret Mage
Apxvoid initially took the deck from Rank 5 up to Rank 1 but then made it all the way to top 100 Legend in a second play session. He thinks this style of mage may be optimal though is considering cutting Sorcerer's Apprentice. Zoo gets destroyed by the deck with other flavors of Warlock you'll see out there the matchup is closer to 50-50.

Zorkthar's Dragon / Big Spell Priest
I've personally been playing this list though I've subbed in Harrison Jones over Acidic Swamp Ooze. It's clear that people hate me when they drag their turns out or just get up and leave. If you want a nice guide to the deck, you should check out a similar list from Hyeri.

It's too bad that many cards for OTK paladin (mainly Beardo) are rotating out in April. I'd love to give it a try but I'm missing all cards from MsoG :-(
I watched this deck on Asmodais' stream and it was just amazing.
Deck is pretty good in wild still
In a few years, when the game ceases to be blessed with new content, you can always go back and craft every card.
None of these decks even beats exodia mage
there is 0 ice block counter unless you're going to try to tell me that you can get someone to play ice block right after you play counter spell LMAO
there are all what I like to call "hollywood decks" they look nice and cool to play on the surface, but if you actually look at how they will play, they're fake news. just average decks.
you want a consistent deck for climbing lower to mid ranks up to the point where you can even start thinking about legend? tech some fucking counter cards. even throw in an eater of secrets for fuck's sake!
only one of these decks even has a chance against dk guldan..
no silence.. minimum of board clears.. wtf? Are these guys actually trolling us? Have fun getting rekt by cubelock and every other meta-current deck.
noone beats exodia mage????
the secret mage has counterpsell and even better: explosive runes. Bring him down to 1 hp and play it...
The OTK paladin has dirty rat to pull out your required combo pieces and Hydrologist for eye for an eye secret...
Dudeadin has speed but not a specific counter, but divine shield and tempo should be enough
and the dragon preist can simply get a iceblock from his deck...
This Deck's are really COOL! love it!
Not sure if you should give thijs the credit. Asmodai has played basically the same list for weeks and got top 10 legend with it. Pretty sure rage made the original list.
i dont like fungal mancer in tempo mage at all it barely uses any minions and adding a saronite chaingang really does not help it. but fungal mancer in zoo on the other hand is quite a powerful inclusion
I'm not sold on the mage deck either. What I like about Fungalmancer is that it gives mages a powerful turn 5 before they equip Aluneth, but as you said there's not much minion synergy in the later turns.
If Ice Block does move to HoF though, tempo mages will start using more minions and Fungalmancer will become useful, just like it is in zoo warlock.
And it will take Blizzard 6 month to balance a card until people have poured enough cash to play / counter the meta.
Let me post in here aswell that OTK paladin is a list created by asmo and piloted to rank 3 legend for the past week. Its not a list from thijs, its a list from Asmo who thijs copied it from!

Omegalol
Omegalol?????
What is that?
*OMEGALUL, my friend.
(typically following a D and having a C placed after it)
You have no idea how much Dudeadin makes me vomit. Call to Arms needs a nerf, god damn.
Yeah, I don't really mind call to arms that much, but good god Blizzard's policy in nerfs is so stupid.
They don't balance to make the game better, they balance to make the game 'fresh'/'different'. It's not a problem for them to have a cancerous stupidly broken deck in the game, as long as it's using new cards and haven't been around since forever.
It only bothers them if it's a cancer that sticked around for long. So if a deck makes you miserable for months and makes the game super frustrating? It's okay, it's new so you can have a horrible time with it.
Much like how they didn't nerf patches until now and didn't nerf Cubelock.
Call to arms is OP I agree. It can be used from aggro to control is a proof how strong it is. However, it properly the only thing that make Paladin kinda viable right now. If it hadn't been for Call to Arms, there is almost no way Paladin can beat Tempo Secret Mage. Counter Spell can be played around with cheap spell, but taking 2 explosive rune that deal damage to your face and prevent tempo is the thing that your face cannot endure so well. All classes have some OP cards though.....
I think they will nerf Call to Arms if there is a card that make Paladin viable in the next expansion.
Cubelock is good but is just terrible against other over played decks in the format(secret mage). Cubelock isn't truly broken yet.
