Year of the Mammoth Bundle Ends March 11
If you, like thousands of other players, were wondering when the Year of the Mammoth pack bundle was ending, we've finally got an answer. Thanks to a tweet from the Hearthstone twitter account this afternoon (and apparently shop page), it looks like the fun comes to an end on March 11.
Quote from @PlayHearthstoneThe Year of the Mammoth Bundle is now available on the Blizzard Shop! For a limited time get 30 packs for 50% off http://blizz.ly/MammothBundle (Source)
Yup, March 11th (Source)
What'd You Get?
A little late to the party here but here's my haul.
Are You Still Playing Hearthstone?
We've got a few questions for all Hearthstone players, whether you're playing the game still or not.
Not a Single Legendary. Couple of useless epics. My RNG sucks.
I was very skeptical on whether i should get this or not, mostly because after spending 50$ on packs and only getting 1 legendary last time
However i eventually gave in and honestly...I am glad im addictied to gambling now .3.
I got 1 Spiritsinger Umbra, 1 golden Moorabi and Keleseth in the same pack, and that one guy that recruits a 1,2, and 3 attack minion. Cant remember his name.
Never been so happy opening packs before <3
"Everybody is opening legendary cards, noway! Not possible!"
I bought the bundle (after 5 euro for the welcome pack, 20 euro now maybe is ok, Still am I a free to player?)
3 Legendary (kind of useless, but still legendary) cards: Archbishop Benedictus, Geosculptor Yip, Grumble, Worldshaker.
I'd like to have more lore-expansions. Like the burning crusade, cataclysm, legion, or the war of the ancient. Maybe an expansion of the wild gods or trolls.
Some numbers from my bundle:
Ungoro - pity timer 4, got Lyra the Sunshard in 3rd pack (7)
Frozen Throne - pity timer 17, got Bolvar, Fireblood in 1st (18) and Valeera the Hollow in 7th (6)
Kobolds - pity timer 15, got golden Temporus at last one (25). Pretty happy in overall, thank you Inkeeper :)
No Bonemare or Corridor Creeper for extra dust.
30 packs and i got only 1 legendary - Unite the Murlocs #feelsbadman :-(
Un'Goro was the best expansion of this year and after it out we had one of the best meta ever. Every class had at least 1 competitive deck. Only quest rogue was pain in the ass but it was easy to beat with fast decks.
What other games are you playing besides Hearthstone?
Missing option: None
No, that option's there. It's "don't vote".
Why do they call it "Trading Card Game" if we can't trade our cards? Card game is just fine. Even Magic is doing this shit with their new MTG Arena.
It's exactly the same with me :)
I love small indie games and would be hard pressed to find games I like in the above categories, aside from some small indie TCGs. Blizzard = small indie company confirmed?
I don't call it as a TCG and I know a lot of people don't call it too because its not a TCG, it is a "CCG" even a "DCCG" which means "Digital Collecting Card Game".
Pokemon TCGO is a TCG; ES Legends, Hearthstone, Gwent is not.
I guess, they don't make digital TCGs because of money issues. You can trade all of your cards whichever physical card game you want but digital card games don't present that option to players. I think we won't see that feature in future too because of the issue i mentioned before.
Money, money, money...
@Dahkas
You said you got what they meant about that poll but i really can't get. How in world a person categorize games like that. You said that it is to understand why people play hearthstone but i guess they can ask like "Why are you playing Hearthstone?" if they want to learn that but question is different. It is about perception of people and how they see the world around them which sounds miserable to me.
Hearthstone is CCG not TCG.
AKA Collectible card game.
Well you better email your thoughts to hearthpwn, they apparently thing otherwise.
Unpacked a Twig of the World Tree, Hunter Quest and Bolvar, should not have dusted the 1st Bolvar...
Happy to see the end of this year ! Too much cancerous ! ^^
