Five Awesome Decks to Play After the Patches the Pirate Nerf
There's been a lot of deckbuilding going on post-patch and we're starting to see some fantastic results. Below you'll find five pro decks that are being played with great success on the ladder alongside a Secret Mage deck that is still destroying opponents. As predicted pre-patch, Warlock is looking strong though only time will tell if it keeps up!
Do you have an awesome deck doing well? Share it via our deckbuilder and be sure to include a guide to teach others how to play the deck. We're on the lookout for deck guides for proven decks and would love to feature them in an upcoming post. If you write a guide, include information on general strategy, mulligans, possible card swaps, and what kind of win-rate you're seeing (proof is A+). Send me a message with a link to your deck guide if you meet the criteria and we'll possibly feature you.

Thanks for the nice words flux!
All of these would lose to the ultimate power of Jade Warrior.
Good thing Jades are rotating out early April haha
How is that retarded 30 IQ Mage AIDS "awesome"? In what world do we think playing or playing against non-interactive crap like that is "awesome"?
Please.
Murloc Paldin deck is nice. Easy rank 5. Thanks!
That KRAPzakus warlock deck is utterly useless
Sure....thats probably the reason many of us make it to legend with that huh....
I guess I’m the only one playing it wrong then. If you could enlighten me with the magical combination that makes me not want to set this deck on fire, I’d appreciate it.
The magical combination is to keep your demons in hand and summon them with Krul.
Soooo many mages in this meta, unless of course I have my anti-mage deck :(
God I know! Mages everywhere! (at least in Standard)
After getting stomped by them 7 times in a row using 4 different decks, I just broke down and started playing an armor-crazy Jade Druid. Working great, but mostly loses to Cubelock, which is definitely a thing right now. :/
Seeing disco zoo coming back actually feels really good, these last few days have been weird, but not queuing into a priest or warlock running patches is so nice.
Disco Zoo. Oh yea!!!
Zetalot's Priest feels so good in this meta
To me, two secrets doesn't make a "secret" mage... That deck looks a lot more aggro/tempo (basically synonymous lol) to me haha. I guess if you count the two ice blocks you get from Primordial Glyph...
2 plus 2 is 4
Two different types of secrets, obviously lol. Still more of a tempo mage to me. When there's three or more secrets, that's when I personally would call it a secret mage. But, I'm just another run of the mill ladder climber, so what do I know lol.
I would call it a Secret Mage too based on the fact that in addition to those 4 (or 2) secrets, it runs 10 (or 5) cards that have synergy with secrets (6 of which are exclusively played in secret-based decks). I'm definitely not saying that Aggro/Tempo would be wrong, I just find Secret Mage more fitting. Perhaps a combination like Aggro Secret Mage would be the best name.
Secret Mage is a Tempo Deck, not Aggro. And yes it is a secret mage deck cause it runs a lot of synergy cards.
