Deck Intro Strings
- PAVEL_DRUID Pavel beat DrHippi in a mirror match with this deck. Watch out for big minions!
- PAVEL_MAGE Pavel's Mage had multiple close calls in the 2016 Championship with this deck. How about you?
- PAVEL_SHAMAN Pavel's Shaman was always banned by his opponents. But it's not banned here!
- PAVEL_ROGUE Pavel's Rogue can struggle against aggressive decks, but it still packs a big punch!
- PAVEL_WARRIOR Pavel played this C'thun Warrior twice in the Finals, losing to DrHippi's Warrior but winning against his Druid.
- OSTKAKA_ROGUE In the last match of the 2015 Finals, Ostkaka beat Hotform's Druid and was welcomed into the Hall of Champions!
- OSTKAKA_WARRIOR Grim Patrons helped Ostkaka win... even without Warsong Commander. That's playing with style!
- OSTKAKA_MAGE Ostkaka played this Freeze Mage against Hotform's Tempo Mage, burning it down with fireballs. Irony!
- FIREBAT_ROGUE Firebat soundly beat DTwo's Priest in 2014, achieving lethal with a miracle 12/4 Auctioneer!
- FIREBAT_HUNTER Firebat chose this Hunter to counter DTwo's Warlock, as payback for losing his Rogue deck...
- FIREBAT_DRUID Firebat started the Finals with his Druid... and never lost! He's the 2014 Champion!
- FIREBAT_WARLOCK Firebat's Warlock was banned in the finals by Tiddler Celestial. How will it do now?

Original Cards
Cards in the decks are the unnerfed versions of that card. This was done by having duplicate cards added to the game specifically for the brawl. Here they all are! It would be super cool to see this extended in the future to see a buildable deck brawl with unnerfed cards.
Discuss This Week's Brawl
Head on over to the discussion thread on our forums to discuss this week's brawl.
this brawl is excellent
dafuq are you saying?
Lmao, won as Firebat's druid, got rewarded in quests as if i was a priest.
This happened to me too
Won as Firebat hunter, got rewarded as either a pally or priest win. Who knows, maybe priest and all the Firebat decks are priest decks!
Why is Harvest Golem being shown?
Best thing about this brawl :
No f*cking priest
A simpler time where experimenting with priest was actually fun.
Enjoyed it alot, Thanks Blizzard
How I describe this brawl,
PTSD
Firebat's Hunter has two Freezing traps instead of one
This is the Fireside Tavern Brawl for this month, why have them overlap?
Got a rare, an epic and a golden legendary, so 1730 dust in total, but.... of course on the wrong server. Lol
Why would someone miss these decks..?They were broken beyond measure and i m glad they were nerfed or rotated out..
Nostalgia is a bitch
Not all of the cards that were nerfed then would be as broken in today's meta. Sure, we aren't see these unnerfed cards mixed with a brawl that also includes newer cards, but if we pretended to bring back the unnerfed versions many of them wouldn't be able to compete against more powerful decks in most cases.
Take Undertaker Hunter for an example. I actually played the deck often in ranked back in the day before hitting my personal wall at rank 5. If you took Undertaker and put the original version in an aggro hunter there is no way in hell that even such an aggressive card as that would come close to competing in the smorc race with Pirate Warrior or Aggro Druid. With all of the anti-aggro removal that Control/Cube Lock has Undertaker would also struggle nowadays. So, sure broken then, but not nearly as broken in comparison now. I really am digressing though.
Someone might miss the decks because they are bored with the deck they have available to them right now, and if they never played those decks back in the day then playing something 'new' could be refreshing for them.
I got a win on the first try with Firebat's rogue deck and opened Edwin. NICE
This is fucking terrible. What a horrible brawl
Brawl "Who concede first". (30 wins in less than 30 min)
The really only thing would be nice about this brawl, is "Sorry" emote. Besides that, it's good to go back in time.
