because the bow is better than twig, twig is way too slow and super easy to couunter, you just destroy it once the druid has 9 mana and literally deny him of his "oh so powerful" Combo refreshing tool, while the bow literally gives you instant value,
mark my words, rhok'delar will see play during all the expansion twig won't see play after the initial first two weeks of the expansion
The current legendary weapons are as good as these. Especially Frostmourne and no one runs removal.
Aluneth is broken, and the rest of them save twig and maybe Val’anyr are unplayable. Twig is only good because of Medivh+UI on turn 8, will be arguably the worst one after medivh rotates.
Kingsbane is fantastic when buffed
My Twilight Acolyte and Cabal Shadow Priest thank you in advance for our shiny new Val'anyr, no matter what minion you choose to play it on.
I think this expansion is going to be a race between rogue and priest for who can flatten all the other classes faster. Both got so many powerful tools this expansion, although mage isn't far behind with its ability to nuke people with archmage fireballs discounted to 2-mana using Leyline Manipulator.
Error post (why can we not delete posts)
I have a feeling that we are all going to learn to hate the Twilight Acolyte because it combos so well with cabal shadow priest and Potion of Madness. This combo works on basically everything, even archetype defining cards like Lynessa Sunsorrow.
Look at it this way: after the first few weeks, a lot of decks aren't going to run weapon clears. The rogue, paladin and druid weapons WANT to be removed, while the shaman, warrior and hunter ones are likely going to see only minor play. This means that people will have to slot a weapon tech card mostly for mage encounters, and many will simply tempo it out on warlock because they assume you aren't playing the weapon.
If people predict that you are going to play the warlock weapon, it is the worst. However, if people aren't using it in the meta as much, it can sneak in and be an unopposed threat against many decks.
I'm just so disappointed by all of them tbh. i guess they are all a bit better then i first gave them credit for, given that i thought everyone would run weapon removal when this expansion launched, but looking at these cards i actually dont think they will. i think aluneth is the best one. i would probably go for the warrior one, just because its my favorite class, except i dont belive in the archetype, and warrior still lacks good early game to play with it.
Rouge weapon is the only weapon I want so...
Ikr, Fal'dorei Strider is one of my favorite cards in the set, Sonya Shadowdancer really grew on me, the new card that draws a weapon is really good (it's rouge only), the combo: draw 2 minions from your deck looks fun and strong.
Quite an expansion for rouges
Personally, it's between Dragon Soul (main Priest) and Val'anyr, as control Paladin and Buffadin are both sets I use.
Aluneth looks good down the road, but I currently use control Mage.
Kingsbane is probably going to be a must for Rogues, but I'm going to wait and see how effective it is, unless it's one of cards I receive.
The rest ... meh. The warlock one would be good if it was pickup a demon AFTER turn.
QUESTION: does the Rummaging Kobold restore Val'anyr if it's been muted on a minion, or does it create multiple Kingsbanes?

Val'anyr is destroyed when it's durability runs out, it is destroyed by a card effect, or by equipping another weapon. The fact that the deathrattle gives a minion a buff that can reequip the weapon is irrelevant.
Rhok'delar
I just can't wait to get The Marsh Queen from it! ;P
But suriously - I main Hunter and getting this for free is the only way I'd give this new "archetype a try. And since I don't have much of the other classes' cards, I won't profit from the other ones neither.
Twilight Acolyte + Cabal Shadow Priest on the Val'anyr minion or Psychic Scream on a dopplegangster board with the weapon inside them.
Kingsbane because I want it. Dragonsould because I think it will be a card Priest will end up using a lot.
Hopefully no Shaman or Paladin, because Shaman sucks and I don't play Paladin at all
