New Warrior Legendary Weapon Reveal: Woecleaver
A new Warrior card has been revealed by ahqEsports. It was given to them as a secondary reveal since Blizzard's Hearthstone Latin America Facebook page posted their reveal early, ruining it.

It's a meme. Further seen by ":^)", implying intense meta-irony.
*long drawn-out sigh*
Grommash comes to mind and not Rotface? The Destroyer of Rank Twenty also exists, though outside of doubling end of turn effects, any legitimate synergy with the card ruins it's delicious memeness, in my opinion.
1. you can play neutral cards like Ysera, The Lich King, etc
2. The effect isn't expensive, it's actually extremely cheap. Worst case scenario (if your opponent plays ooze next turn) you're getting a lategame legendary you'd play anyways +3 dmg.
The question is not if this card is good, but if Recruit Warrior will be a viable deck (probably around T3, certainly worse than Big Priest which pretty much does the same except for possible shenanigans with Dead Mans Hand). And the biggest downside that you can't play N'Zoth.
tfw you can't appreciate some good tentacle fetish tsk tsk
I can't believe everyone is discounting the possibility of a big warrior deck
Everyone is discounting it because Big Warrior has absolutely no support outside of two cards. Warrior doesn't have the tools to survive early game and midgame to get to play something like this and other massive lategame drops. Priest does. They have AoE and spot removal galore that can fully substitute for minions, they can access their key cards through Shadow Visions and they can keep a threat alive once it's there with their hero power. Druid does. They can skip early and midgame completely through ramping, and though they lack the AoE or spot removal of Priest, they make up for it by simply being able to play their massive lategame monsters one after the other until the end of the game by the time your opponent is entering their midgame.
Warrior doesn't have Druid's ramp, doesn't have Druid's draw (you can't run Battle Rage without small minions, and almost every Control Warrior runs 2 Acolytes), doesn't have Priest's AoE (Sleep with the Fishes requires a setup to trigger, the new Armor AoE requires setup in the form of armor, Brawl leaves shit on the board, often the biggest one your opponent had), doesn't have Priest's spot removal (Execute requires setup, and remember, you have no small minions to do damage, Shield Slam requires setup through armor) or Priest's ability to fish for the combo with Shadow Visions. What does Warrior have? The 6 mana recruit card and this. By turn 6 even the slowest of slow Big Priest hands are online and can repeatedly keep bringing their threat in where you get one 6 mana recruit and you're done. By turn 6 Ramp Druid has a Lich King on the board, which they will follow up with a 8, 9 or 10 drop every turn from now on. Again, you get one shot with your recruit at 6 if you even have it in hand.
Unless the reveal today shows like 4 major cards that can hold Big Warrior together, Recruit Warrior is about as likely as Freeze Shaman. You pay a massive price to play that type of deck and the reward is horrendously weak. Like, Journey to Un'Goro type of weak.
Big warrior FTW
Warriors can't ramp, but nobody can stall like warriors can. Control warrior is successful archetype, there's no reason not to think the new additions they get this exp cant make a late game happen. With Dead Man's Hand, pitching multiple big minions and additional Woecleaver's, you can get alot out of the Warrior control late game.
We'll have to see!
"Ruining it", LOL! No, Blizzard. I'm afraid YOU did that.
If only Malorne is a Warrior legendary Kappa
An 8-mana weapon with one extra durability compared to Fiery War Axe (3/2) with an awesome recruit mechanic after attacking! :O ok.
So for the cost of 5 extra mana, you get +1 Durability and 3 recruit, if you manage to attack 3 times.
Very vulnerable to weapon destruction too, why is this a legendary?
I see it as a replacement of the Warrior DK in a Mill warrior setup, although recruiting a Coldlight Oracle is not such a good idea.
I agree with you. Did you see the last reveal stream? They made use of it in a BIG Warrior deck and it seems it didnt work out that well, nevertheless it could be used in such circumstances
This "free legendary weapon on K&C release" is quickly becoming a russian roulette. So many bad ones...
I'm afraid you're right, Russian Roulette it is.
This card feels more like the Magma Rager award than all the other cards that has been revealed, and it's a legendary.
I'd be quite disappointed if I got this.
Well, in russian roulette there is only one possible bad outcome, isn't it? :D
You mean...like every single deck? Big priest doesn't rely on barnes or shadow essence and more often than not your first minion comes at tun 7 or later.
Recruit is gonna be as useless as jousting with the exception of some memes and maybe a malygos deck. Why'd they have to push recruit warrior after dicking them with war axe nerf and terrible death knight.
this looks like Nerf went into the weapon making business, oh wait
