Alley Cat or Kindly Grandmother + Crackling Razormaw into Cloaked Huntress + free secrets sounds like some great early game tempo to me.
i think Hunter upgrade and Rogue upgrade should have been be swapped to promote Deathrattle Hunter and Secret Rogue, Blizzard tries to promote a particular archtype and don't give good cards for them, and still expect it to work out.
Fair point, but rogues only have 3 secrets. If you're trying to be at least semi-competitive do you see yourself running multiple copies of just those three secrets in your deck?
Personally, I like rogue deathrattle decks more than hunter deathrattle, but maybe that is because I like being able to compete in the value game with priests when Shadowstepping my N'Zoth.
Lol
Resurrect is a 2 Mana card so technically it's only 8 Mana's worth of resurrects
Resurrect
Pretty sure this is 8 mana worth of ressing at best. Assuming you even have 4 good things to res.
If you got to choose, it would say "choose" or "discover." It's still a strong card.
Additionally, although it can be compared with Resurrect, it's 2+ Resurrect in 1 card. That's powerful.
Resurrect only costs 2 mana though, so you're getting 8 mana value, but it's rolled into 1 card. Idk about pathetically easy, 8 cards is basically your whole hand so that could take a while.
Some Spellstones are meant to be good, some are meant to be bad, and some are meant to be memes.
It's like that with every card.
Warlock is getting trash legendaries while also getting good commons and rares. Others get better legendaries and trash commons/rares.
Hunter got pretty bad cards so far, it was about time it got a good one, and the spellstone is just that, a good card for a sub-par archetype like Secret Hunter, or an acceptable archetype like Midrange Hunter with a couple secrets. It's not that Hunter is a powerhouse currently anyway.
sooooo, miracle priest?
I feel like the Hunter one might be good enough to see play, but the priest and rouge ones are trying to force bad archetypes.
Excuse me are you implying that big priest is bad? and that secret hunter hasnt been a bad archtype that they've been trying to push?
Making a deck with 4 deathrattles in it is not something Rogue struggles to do. This card, despite its mid-game mena cost, is a late game board clear.
I will definitely be giving a good solid look at rogue after this expansion. Rogue is already very good. But it appears that Rogue got enough good cards this expansion to continue to be good even after the expansion.
Rogue can now clear 6 enemy minions for 10 mana with that spellstone and valeera the hollow
Nope... when they say "cards" they mean minions or weapons, spells not included
