I'll be trying it in midrange hunter, with only Call of the Wild in deck.
It's like they embraced the fact that HS will probably never be a serious E-sport and they changed their marketing plan to investing in Memestone.
Just... Sooo many random Effects.... sigh...
It's just becoming ridiculous considering the cards released so far ... I feel like this expansion is an "expansion filler", the same way we have "pack filler" such as penguin and other shitty wisps ...
I don't think we play the same game
I'm referring to the fact that I have more than 4000 victories on HS, and I have never encountered a single opponent playing those trash cards ! But that wasn't my intention to open a debate about those cards. It was more about the "random" tag which I feel omnipresent in this expansion. This game has already a lot of random aspect, which is normal for a CCG, but it is already higher than the average, and for me it's not interesting at all and just ruin the experience ...
Your exemple though, is not valid for me. Those spells you are talking about are referring to some control decks, and control mage for exemple won't play without Frostbolt, Fireball or Meteor... So having a Meteor casted on one of your own late game minion isn't what I call a "interesting".
The you clearly don't understand this card lol
LOL you just outed yourself as a total noob congrats!
Imo Hearthstone design limits itself in term of card creativity. I really wish it had the Attack/Defense phase mechanic.
Tortollan Primalist is still a better option.
And also, I guess Blizzard liked Yogg-Saron, Hope's End's random casting so much or they saw a lot of request about yogg in community to make him classic and they're printing his effects through some of new minions becuse Yogg is about to going wild in 4 months.
I like the idea of trying it in wild as your top end in a tempo rouge with conceal and sprint as your only spells. Either it lives for another turn or it draws 4 cards.
This set is getting a lot of high mana cards. But still Some effect. Well this wont be played in arena, prob not in standard either, Perhaps wild might see this but unlikely. Random casting is getting boring.
Could be good in Quest Mage if you don't burn the Molten Reflection (make sure they're in your hand!).
Quest Mage has a huge drive to dig into the deck quickly. If this pulls Arcane Intellect that's a total of three cards deeper (1 for Arcane Intellect, 2 for the cards it draws). And if it pulls anything else it's still one card deeper and you've just cast your Ice Block, Ice Shield, Frost Nova, Blizzard, Cabalist Tome, Primordial Glyph, or Simulacrum, which if planned well enough could all be very good, potentially life saving.
It's what I thought, I did for some reason forget the possibility of burning molten reflection although it's the one I most frequently get replacements for off primordial and cabalist tome. Besides those two spells though there's not a lot of spells that are bad to cast in quest mage except maybe polymorph or fireball if you run those. I guess draw, tome, or glyph might be bad if you don't have the hand space but if you don't you probably shouldn't be playing this card and are better off emptying your hand first.
why not just play the weapon then? You get 3 guaranteed with more potentially on following turns and you dont need the creature on the board anyways.
Because the weapon is truly random, whereas this card you build your deck around it.
And because this card might save your life if you play it right. (Ice block, barrier, Blizzard, Frost Nova).
So the spell cast will remain in your deck and not be cast as a played card.
Regarding any spell you tech for control; this could go so many ways!
I believe it gets removed from your deck
Elemental Mage with a lot of creatures, only playing Frost Nova and Blizzard as spells... then this will be a 4 turn board stall when you have time to kill your opponent.... I will try this...
Add Elise the Trailblazer to up the chance that you will have a spell left in your deck
Someone had been reading from the book of Yogg-Saron, Hope's End.
