Strong card overall. Elemental mage has already had some potential but didn't work out cuz the meta is filled with too op deck. Maybe this will be the push? Other than that, more RNG for mage team YAY (please kill me)
why link the spell to something completely irrelevant for the effect. why elementals? why not something that could be used or synetgizss with quest mage then? I really question the design decicion.

Unfathomably tired of random mage spells...
Come on, Blizzard....
I think you guys are tunneling on getting 3x out of it too hard.
2 cards for 2 mana is still really good. I mean draw 2 is 3cost , thoughtsteal is 3cost, or body + add 1 to hand is 3cost.
But best case scenario. Coin + Tempest > Tempest >Lv2 spellstone is already enough to trigger Waygate. Obviously that's not how it's played now but with the core cards cycling out that's what is going to happen.
the dufference between draw 2 cards for 3 mana and get 2 random cards for 2 mana is huge. because draw 2 means that you are asured cards that help you with your win condition. while 2 random cards can be 2 freezing postions, 2 shatters. glyph is just superior bdcause you can cboose and you get a discount.
I cant wait for that 1 game were my opponent somehow manage to go infinite with this spell.

Is this a card for tempo elemental quest mage?
quest mages won't fill their deck with elementals, so they can't use the upgraded versions which games this card a worse babbeling book.
Can't they just let every mage deck automatically include 15 random spells? It's not like that would change anything.
it wpuld change things, less rng. 15 random instead of 20 randoms.
