I think they can do whatever they like, there will always be good and bad cards (due to the number of cards).
I understand your will to "outplay" your opponent but as you mention it's really limited in HS.
They should rework the basic mechanics of the game to change that I think.
I've try a bit Duelyst (another F2P card game) and there is the possibility to mulligan one card from your hand each turn. This kind of stuff could help to change HS in more competitive direction I think.
BTW I recommend trying Duelyst if you want more "strategy oriented" game. It's basically like HS but with a notion of placement and movement for unit and your hero.
See you ;)
It's not a super interesting card, but having a far less expensive Cabalist's Tome is obviously awesome. Card advantage is great, so this card is great. I wonder what happens if you discover this spell from Primordial Glyph and then upgrade it. Presumably it keeps the cost reduction, giving you a potential 0 mana "draw 3" type effect - pretty insane.
Mages need a spell to "increase the slots of random spell cards in your hand" to become viable.
I don't think they're ever going to increase the maximum hand size. Have you ever tried playing on a phone with a full hand? It's a nightmare already.
I was J/K
Insane!
My question, same as for all the other stone cards is: Do you need to satisfy the condition to level up in one turn?
I.E.: Play two elementals on the same turn, overload 3 mana crystals in one turn, gain 8 armor in one turn, etc... Or does it work through your turns as long as you have it in your hand?
For what I heard the cards needs to be in your hand and the conditions can met in different turns otherwise it would read "gain 8 armor in one turn to upgrade"
No it has to be once at a time, so if you were to gain 8 armor it would only count as one upgrade
It just has to be in your hand, it would be hard for 7 mana cards to work other way, right?
How "upgrade" work?
If it is in your deck or hand?
Only if its in your hand
The card gets upgraded only while is in your hand.
Please god end up not being played, I have enough random bullshit happening to me when playing against Mage already...
Yo, this card alone makes elemental mage A LOT stronger.
Maybe it'll be a viable deck, even...
Buff to primordial glyph for quest mage
