What’s a Dungeon Run?
Dungeon Run is a new insanely fun, single-player “rogue-like” mode where you’ll face deadly encounters and collect incredible Treasures to build a deck worthy of a hero!
When your Dungeon Run starts, you’ll choose a Hero and receive a starting deck consisting of 10 cards. You’ll use it to overcome eight encounters of increasing difficulty (chosen randomly from a huge pool of 48 possible encounters!) to clear the run.
That initial deck might be enough to help you squeak by your first opponent, but you’ll need to get stronger if you hope to clear the whole run. Each time you defeat a Dungeon Run encounter, you’ll be given an opportunity to “level up” your Dungeon Run deck with themed sets of three cards appropriate to your class. Occasionally, you’ll also be able to pick from a selection of three incredibly powerful Treasure cards—non-collectible cards and abilities made just for this mode that are too blatantly overpowered to see normal play.
You’ll need all that power—as well as your wits—because these encounters can be fiendishly difficult. Victory is not assured, and each encounter has its own unique perils. If one of them gets the better of you, defeat is permanent, so you’ll have to start a different run with a whole new deck!
If you manage to complete a full Dungeon Run with each of the nine Classes—no mean feat!—you’ll add the Candle King card back to your collection.

Wait... here is idea for counter to Quest Mage:
Make them mill the Ransom somehow (using Naturalize, Sap or Coldlight Oracle with coin or alternative)... And voila combo piece are not available to them anymore...
Yea, but how do you win after that? Because you're stuck with their deck, that's almost useless without combo pieces.
The thing is, if you are trying to mill the Ransom card, you are then playing with the Quest Mage deck.
But they would probably already be holding at least one of the peices required for a combo
I really like wher ethe design is heading with this expanion. The influenc of the guy from magic really shows in this one. Finaly not just stat boost and curve cards, but actual interesting unique ones that make you think what you can achieve with them. I was meant to comment this on the priest legendary but then this one came out. Looking very good so far.

I like the strategy of using this card and then mis-playing your opponent's deck. Fuck up their Jade strategy, dump their combo cards, play Tirion so they can't.

All i ever want with this card is to play rogue with alot of draw and control get Shadowstep on 1 or 2 Coldlight Oraclethen when i get King Togwaggle i draw my opponent to 10 play this and enjoy having his deck for the rest of the game while he has what little is left of mine and no way to get it back since he couldn't get King's Ransom because his hand was full. This is my dream. Or priest play King Togwaggle Mind Vision the King's Ransom so you can keep his deck that way.

wild ramp druid as much draw and ramp as possible double naturallize + king so opponent dont get the spell and you have his deck.
Well this is actually an interesting counter to turn 7 Living Mana...
So unless you can do something that turn, such as draw cards, this just basically mills you 1 while giving the milled card to your opponent in exchange for 5 mana.
