On a Budget? Check out this No-Legendary Dragon Priest Deck!
StanCifka is back with another deck guide to teach you how to better yourself at Hearthstone. Today we're getting insight into a tweaked Dragon Priest deck which is friendly to dust budgets of all types. If you've been collecting cheap, popular cards for the past few expansions, there's little left to craft.
You can follow StanCifka on Twitch, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
General Gameplan
You are playing a fair game with your opponent, gaining some value with Northshire Cleric and Netherspite Historian and controlling the board with Tar Creeper and some removal. And suddenly you realize that you managed to stick a high toughness minion on the board, and your opponent has only 30 lives so it’s time to kill him with your combo package!
The Deck
Check out the deck below and make sure you head on over to the guide to learn more about the mulligans, card selection, and potential card changes.

That may be the case, but looking at this deck, it really doesn't look like rocket science to me. I am pretty sure 1000's of people already created this deck, but he (and many other pro players) get the credit for it. Being a pro player doesn't neccessary mean you are a pro deck builder.
But then again, a few people here were complaining about the highlighting of his decks on Hearthpwn in general, as if this was just the last straw. It was mostly to them that my comment was addressed.
If you want to talk about this deck specifically, well, we're at the end of this meta now, so it's quite tough for anyone to come up with something totally new. Furthermore, in his guide he said: " I am definitely not trying to take full credit for creating this deck out of thin air. I just tweaked it". Seems a pretty fair statement, no?
I honestly have a hard time understanding what all the rage is about.
Well, when I post a deck that has a written guide, I usually have spent many hours on the deck and, even if the guide is not the best, I spent at least 6-8 hours refining the guide to make sure I get what I want out there, and it looks decent.
JHUS is also a great deck builder here on HearthPwn, and I love his decks, and FeelzbatmanHS is also really awesome, even though he only has a few decks.
But, if you are expecting me to just name lots of deck builders off the top of my head, I don't usually scroll through the decks or profiles here on HearthPwn, I prefer to float in the forums and come up with deck ideas myself, not wanting to copy off of someone else. If you really want to find some other deck builders, you should take a hard look for yourself, because you may have a different play style than I, so you may find certain deck builders to be average when I find them to be phenomenal.
Zetalot's Pirate Priest is intriguing, but I don't have the epic Southsea Captains, Ysera or Patches the Pirate.

/I would sub Lyra for Ysera, cheap spells for Fire Fly and Leeroy Jenkins or Shadow Essence for Skulking Geist
It's not a budget deck if you need to buy all of Karazhan to make it.
Actually now you can craft cards in sets you don't own.
No you can't
?
I don't know... I bought all of Karazhan as a F2P in first 2 months of playing... 700 gold per wing isn't all that expensive if you do daily quest every day...
No need to be pedantic just because I forgot phrase "on average", but on average you get 1 legendary per 20 packs, even if you consider that first 10 packs guaranteed legendary thing, it is still 2 legendaries in 30 packs, which might not even be good once... While Curator and Medivh are already good cards, not to mention some other good non-legendaries that must include in certain classes...
If you have gambling addiction, sure buy packs... If you want some value, buying adventure is the way to go. Though consideration should be made right now as Karazhan goes out of the standard on April, so unless you plan to play some wild maybe you shouldn't buy it... But when I was noob with small collection I considered even decks which had legendaries from Adventures to be budget, as that was easy to get. (and I was noob around a year ago, so I actually bought 3 adventures with gold and was happy that I did it)
This is Mitsuhide OTK Dragon Priest, without Lyra...
No legendaries, but still 4 epics I don't have :(
doesnt have 4 epics in deck
Did you even know how to count?
So, he basically took the list from Kibler ( http://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/decks/brian-kiblers-marin-fox-dragon-priest-november-2017/ ) and changed T-H-R-E-E (3!!!) fu**ing cards:
-1 Marin the Fox (wich is free anyway),
-1 Lyra
-1 Dragonfire potion
+2 golakka crawler
+1 SW Pain
But please, keep feeding us with decklist of this very original and not at all over-highlighted guy
Well, that's 10% of the deck. xD
Stancifka deserves the spotlight because he writes a lot of guides, which are more important than the decklist.
