The Referential Card Design Competition

Entries are open for this week's Card Design Competition! This week's theme is "A Preference For a Reference" and requires you design a card which references a collectible card by name.

Competition-Specific Restrictions:

Your card must refer to a different collectible card by name
The card your card refers to cannot be C'Thun. We already had a competition for him!
Existing examples: Archmage Antonidas, Ghastly Conjurer, Mekgineer Thermaplugg.

For a full list of the rules you'll need to enter, head on over to the submission thread. Don't forget, you can only submit one card into the competition and you must submit your card in the submission thread for it to be a valid submission - the news post comments don't work! It should also be noted we have a dedicated thread for you to discuss this week's entries, so if that's your cup of tea, head on over to the discussion thread.

imgur was down that day, i tried and it failed to upload...it was a bust as well because i also failed to upload my episode for my Pokemon Nuzlocke. :S

edit: and i don't like Photophucked, it's clunky and bad and not worth anyone's time.

I can't upload to imgur by ctrl c + v the hearthcards link either. Instead I copy the actual image to clipboard and paste that to imgur.

Not sure why one way works and the other doesn't though... just a small quirk of hearthcards I guess.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU POST YOUR CARD. 'Kay thanks.

Do not post your card here. You must post your card in the submission thread.

Read the rules carefully. Your card may not comply with the prompt despite your better judgement.

Use Hearthcards. It's fantastic website that'll easily make cards for you.

Post your card using an image hosting service. Hearthcards automatically deletes recently made cards within 3 days, and that means your card be disqualified, and you'll be sad n' stuff. I recommend using Imgur!

You can't make your card golden or create any unnecessary graphics. It's considered vote-manipulation.

You can only post in the submission thread once. Once you submit your card, you can't change it. You can however make minor balance changes to the card, but that's it.

You can only post submissions in the submission thread. No discussions. If you've made a mistake by posting a a non-card post in the by accident or posted a wrong card, report it or Private Message ShadowsOfSense and he'll take care of it.

If you want a review for your card, post it in the discussion thread. There's a lot of folks there that'll be glad to help!

Do not advertise your card anywhere except your signature. That would be acting like a disrespectful, manipulative, and egotistical jerk. I already take that position thank you very much.
