First Female HCT Player, New Player Experience, New Meta Decks - Omni/Stone #19
This week on Omni/Stone, Frodan, Kibler, and Firebat discussed the addition of SHRoyalBaiZe to China's HCT roster, Oktoberbrawl, the New Player Experience, a review on new decks in the meta, and more!
Watch episode 19 of Omni/Stone below and be sure to hit up Omnistone on YouTube to find previous episodes of Omni/Stone and the other great content they put out. You can also follow Omnislash on Twitter @Omnislash.
Is just me or this show feels too biased toward Blizzard, even though it's no secret that it's sponsored by Blizzard itself.... every time Firebat points a problem in the game mecanics or in the ladder system, Frodan steps up and comes up with something to cover it up?!
Don't hate on me pls I'm just making a point here...
Frodan and Kibler are extremely pro-Blizzard.
tbh i think frodan and Kibler are just level-headed and mostly want to consider all matters in an objective manner, and that means not shitting on blizzard for everything they do.
What's the scope of Omnistone? I listed to Lightforge for arena, Valuetown for Competitive/Tournaments (although it seems to be moving away from that of late) and Angry Chicken for all-round/casual.
I’ll check this out! I enjoy valuetown as well but my fav is the Angry chicken. I never see them advertised though.
Can't handle listening to the value town show because they refuse to put 'chapters' in their description.
I am really pleased that OmniSlash/ does that. It really helps the listener to cut through the BS you don't want to listen to. Take note HS podcasts.
Why Firebat is so sexy? I cant focus

I like these the quality has been increasing with each one!
I like ValueTown and do my best to listen to them as soon as they come out with an episode (yes, listen, I prefer the podcast), but I feel that more often than not, the most impactful issues addressed through the comments/observations on OmniStone.
Also, when will Omni start offering their episodes as podcasts (sans the meme battles, of course)?
Yeah, some of them are lackluster, but it's part of developing the segment. I'm sure their rules for future matches will get better with more input and time. Otherwise, they're still the weakest part of the show.
