Blizzard App Being Rebranded Again - Blizzard Battle.net
Battle.net LIVES! In a future update the Blizzard App will be getting another name change, this time over to Blizzard Battle.net.
Quote from BlizzardWhen we announced that we’d be transitioning away from the Battle.net name for our online-gaming service, we suspected that the shift would be challenging. We understood that Battle.net stood for something special—it represents years of shared history and enjoyment, community and friendship, for all of us and our players.
Battle.net is the central nervous system for Blizzard games and the connective tissue that has brought Blizzard players together since 1996. The technology was never going away, but after giving the branding change further consideration and also hearing your feedback, we’re in agreement that the name should stay as well. Take it from the developer formerly known as Silicon & Synapse, and Chaos Studios, names are important too.
Moving forward, to help offset some of the original concerns we listed back in September, we will be connecting “Blizzard” to “Battle.net” in our logo for the service and in general when we refer to it in print: Blizzard Battle.net.
We appreciate your feedback and look forward to many more years of bringing players together online.
Thanks,
Blizzard Entertainment
What about that part Drain Life is always been lifesteal but never changed.
It's never been lifesteal. It always heals for 2, even if it is affected by spell damage or it hits a minion with divine shield.
hmm true
If the name stood for something special it should have never been changed in the first place.
Better work on the "show as offline" feature. Who cares about names, wtf?

Now this problem is solved, we can finally turn our attention to North Korea's threat or Syria's civil war.
Ha! I knew it's not going to last for a year and there they go changing it already
Nobody was gonna call it anything else, about time they joined the rest of us.
Sooo what was wrong with Battle.net in the first place?
After 20+ years they realized they really disliked the name?
Their hammer burns with holy fire!
*shrugs*
'' All
animalsnews are equal but someanimalsnews are more equal than others '' -G. Orwell, Animal Farm, 1945it will be always Battle.net for me
I guess they realized people were never going to call it anything else than Battle.net.
What is the point? Like...I'm not being snide, I'm just honestly wondering why this is a big enough deal to talk about.
It's a corporation doing the very rare thing of admitting they screwed up, and basically reverting their decision.
That's a very rare thing in corporate America.
