Getting a better Ashbringer is good enough on it's own, the hero power is just gravy. If they're worried about your 2/2s every turn you can just bash their faces in
I think Lich King will be free.But,if there is no Litch King I think the most likely is rexxar.Its one of the first cards.And...not as good or HYPAH.But second is paladin
My understanding is everyone will get one free random death knight from the single player adventure that comes with the release. I think it may be for completing the first area.
While I like the card, Uther DK has a bad matchup with Anduin's ....

You can use it in a divine shield deck, giving your horses Divine Shield with Argent Protector and protect them with Desperate Stand and Sunkeeper Tarim.

Oh my god if you just generate Getaway Kodo's with Hydrologist and then bounce the horsemen back it's gg ez, you play 3 horsemen then hero power for the 4th one and win

Each of the Horsemen has a different art. I wonder if you have to have one of each, or any combination of Horsemen would be enough as long as there is four of them.

First off let me say to all the complainers about the Pally dk hero power being crap..... UM HELLO it acts just like the shammy hero power we have now. Only difference is it's 2/2 instead of 0/2 or 1/1. So yup it's going to be random as to which horseman will come up. Not saying you don't have to think about getting rid of at least 1 horseman so there are never all 4 up.
But seriously, everyone needs to get their knickers out of a wad. Every single expansion for any game everyone complains.... "oh this is crap" and "that is crap" and "what were they thinking!" Just stop and actually think about how the cards might synergize with each other before you go off half baked. Personally, I'm a F2P player. I don't get to see near the amount of cards the P2P guys do. However, I can already see a ton of cards that can easily work with other cards from previous expansions, and can't wait to start working out how they might work with my favorite heroes as well as the cards synergy.
My hat's off to you for the post, I can't agree with you more. It blows my mind how many negative responses much of the set has received. The design space being explored is very refreshing, the potential synergies with other standard and wild cards is exciting, and it leaves one open to speculate where future expansions may go. "But aggro but aggro" - so tired of hearing that! If folks are worried about it, build to beat it, there are plenty of tools! [Completely unrelated aside, read only if you care: Shortly after Un'goro I built a 100% anti-Pirate Warrior that did its job, shut down the rampant beast Hunters that were popular out the gate, and wasn't a complete flop against Quest Rogue (Aggro Druid was still a bit tough, but do-able)].
Being 100% F2P myself I think you perfectly captured the sentiment. I for one am glad that a lot of interesting cards are not epic/legendary so that, unlike Un'goro - which I did love by the way, they'll be easier to have for my collection and to enjoy in the casual rooms.

Surprised that they didn't make it "Destroy a random hero", because they seem to love RNG like that.
I can see an OTK Death Knight Paladin deck with Auctionmaster Beardo and a bunch of cheap spells being pretty good. Maybe throw in a Quest package since a big part of why that deck sucks is that Galvadon is often not enough to kill you opponent and you're left with a deck with a bunch of cheap garbage buffs like Blessing of Might, Blessing of Wisdom and Adaptation that are basically useless in the late game. Quest on 1, fight for board with buffs early on, use Galvadon as a win condition if possible, if not use him as a big taunt to stabilize, turn 9 Death Knight, use armor and the Lifesteal weapon to either keep pushing damage to face or to stall until you draw Beardo and a bunch of cheap spells, hopefully on a turn where your opponent didn't bother to/couldn't clear a 2/2 from your hero power so that you only need to hero power 3 times. Obviously throw two Burgly Bully into the deck since otherwise it's nigh on impossible to Beardo and Hero Power 3 times in a turn without coins. Alternatively, maybe use Desperate Stand, Hand of Protection or big health buffs like Spikeridged on Beardo/Horsemen on the turn before to make them live through a turn.
Of course, if this type of deck that focuses on winning with DK Paladin hero power in one turn comes around it's more likely it focuses exclusively on Beardo, cheap spells, board clear and draw, but I have a copy of The Last Kaleidosaur and I want to use it damn it.
