Battlecry: add volcano to your opponents hand
Cut Doomguard for this card in Zoolock?
Zoo doesn't mean all beast minions kappa
Discolock is going to remain a dead archetype until they start building some type of discard protection into the key cards of the set. I'm not saying it has to be discard immunity necessarily, but maybe targeted discard effects. "Discard the highest/lowest attack minion in your hand." "Discard the highest/lowest cost card in your hand." This kind of thing would enable skilled discolock players to abuse mechanics like silverware golem, clutch mother and dinomancer without running the risk of discarding Lanathel or Jarraxxus or even Doomguard.
Warlock dk prediction: If you discard this card play it immediately.
Otherwise playing discardlock with DK doesn't make sense when you discard it
Warlock DK. Recover all discarded cards into your hand. Hero Power : Heal 4
Until you discard your own DK.
stop with this discard crap already, it' a terrible mechanic
6 mana give tis minion to your openent
It's not bad per se. The main problem is, that it needs a lot of cards to support the theme to work out fine. Which, right now, is not (yet) the case.
I play a discard-aggro deck in wild, which obviously is not a top-tier deck but it still works out fine. And i have a lot fun playing it. Since i don't plan on going legend anytime soon it works out for me^^
Silverware Golem.
Also, Clutchmother Zavas can now in some situations grow to be big. I'm guessing Sunfury Protector, Defender of Argus, and Bloodfury Potion may be good on the Wailing Felhound to make it more threatening and forcing your opponent to hit it and waste resources on it (and you can finish Lakkari Sacrifice faster).
And when you finish the Quest.... Treachery. Admittedly a very slow combo to do it that way, but one could also do like others have already suggested, and that is to give the Felhound as early as possible and your opponent will simply have a terrible time losing all their cards.
If you only have Clutchmother in your hand and play a discard effect that discards two, will you discard the mother twice?
once
It's not that discard miinions suck (although this one does, unless you got Treachery planned) -- it's that Discolock needs CARD GENERATION. Not to be confused with DRAW A CARD; rather, warlocks get cards spawned from cards (like Priest's Thoughtsteal or that Gadgetzan 6-mana that spawns demon cards in your hand). It also needs more cards like Clutchmother Zavas that benefit when discarded and ways to pull discarded cards back. You lose Jaraxxus, you're screwed most likely.
I've tried the warlock quest since getting it in a pack and the best times I had with it were with Lorewalker Cho and discover cards reeling stuff in, making up for whatever I discarded. Still, winning wasn't happening often.
BTW, shaman DK hopefuls -- your regular totems will be shapeshifting into this when you use the hero card, instead of Doomsayer on a regular Evolve. Enjoy.
/warlock casts 2 Bane of Doom, gets this new demon and Unlicensed Apothecary. Joy.
//new warlock deck experiment: 2xTreachery, 2xWailing Felhound, 2xGnomeferatu, 1xSkulking Geist
Sense Demons?
Kinda, but that is more your own deck rather than spawned, unless worthless imps come up.
WOMBO COMBO !
still terrible
That ain't Falco.
