Get 2000 Arcane Dust? Blizzard Makes Up for Pity Timer Bug
Just over a week ago, Blizzard announced that there was an issue which led to some players getting one fewer Epic or Legendary card than they should have from packs. If you were hurt by this bug, you have been sent an email letting you know and 2000 dust has been credited to your account which will let you craft a Legendary card and an Epic card!
No idea what you should craft? You should save it for the upcoming Knights of the Frozen Throne expansion and either spend it on something that looks cool or use it a few days into it once we have a good idea what Legendaries are going to be solid.
No official post has yet been made on the resolution, and it's possible that dust hasn't been finished being distributed. We expect an official response shortly.

Posted Aug 3, 2017 (Quest Rogue Nerf)Many players in Russia opened fewer than 10 packs and received several legendary and epic cards (some of them were even gold), some of them had legendary in every pack. And some of these players just today received 2000 dust!!! Is this normal? I received nothing more great than gold rare card from 10 packs and also didn't receive 2000 dust. Pity ;(

Was at least able to abuse the shit out of their "first 10 packs gets a lego" glitch and got myself a golden Patches, golden Nat the Dark Fisher, Deathwing, Dragonlord, White-Eyes and The Voraxx, so no complaining here.

And I wasn't waiting for bug to be fixed or for new changes because being affected might have been beneficial... and I was right, I get a legendary of my choice now =)

There are no promises whatsoever that this pity timer is promised to you - this is just a thing blizz included to smooth out the odds and give unlucky players a bone. This is what is said on the shop:
As you can see, no promise whatsoever that you're guranteed an epic/legendary. You just assumed you were entitled to any sort of in-game value because you've heard of the pity timer. But since its not in any consumer contract, Blizz could - if they wanted to - delete it one day to the next, because that's not part of what they actually promise you to get in the game.
So maybe start reading contracts and EULAs before talking out of your butt.

Posted Aug 3, 2017 (Quest Rogue Nerf)There's absolutely no advertisement of a pity timer as part of packs, and it's not a selling point for them at all, unless you specifically bought 40 packs because you knew it existed and managed to not pull a legendary in that time. Even then, Blizzard really wouldn't have had to give out any dust, but they did because it's a nice thing to do for those few people that opened 40 packs expecting a Legendary.
