I REALLY like this card. On one hadn it is everything you need to counter jade Druid (which still would have a decent chance at winning as long as they draw both idols before this comes down.
It also works on yourself in decks with 1-cost spells that might not be too great in the late game (thinking of a control oriented Hunter or Amge running mirror image against aggro)
Also, this doesn't ruinJade Druid as much as it forces it to play less greedy. I played Jade Rogue a lot for the last month an that is pretty much jsut a fair version of jade decks that can still be beaten by control decks (got rekt by 2 kazakus-priests who just pllayed really smart with their ressources)
guess it's time for jades to leave and ez big ez druid to thrive.

pretty horrible design if you ask me. They had it so wrong from the beginning. Jade idol should not have existed in the first place. If they had to do something (2 expansions later) they could have at least reworked/nerfed it. This card is not a counter, it literally removes jade druid from the game just because it exists. You can't even play it because if they run this card, you are fucked.
Really embarassing from a balance perspective, nevertheless jade idol is an even more embarassing card so whatever.
Should've been 5 mana so you can do Innervate > Innervate > Coin > Skulking Geist on turn one and destroy your opponents quest if they are running one, that would've been fun
Problem is that if you are using the coin the opponent already played the quest on his first turn.
if you've got the coin your opponent has already played their first turn. Would punish those who don't play quest on turn 1, though.
I'm a bit sad that this effects so many other decks besides just jade druid....some really fun ones too...
Yes, sure... Jade idol should be nerfed, but removing 1 COST CARDS? Really?
RIP Cold Blood, Shield Slam, Evolve...
None of those other decks are so heavily impacted by this card then the jade druid and maybe the miracle rogue. Those are archetype decks becoming completely useless.
The other decks just have to adapt to the new situation, but are still able to get win conditions and to be competitive.
There's a lot of legitimate concern here about this Jade Druid counter having negative side effects for other classes, but I can't help but wonder if this card will actually need to see any play. The mere existence of Skulking Geist makes Jade Druid a deck people probably won't want to run because they know that the meta can and will easily tech them out of existence. If the threat of Skulking Geist has the same effect as playing it, it might never need to be in a position where it screws up other decks.
That's my thought, too. But there are many players out there, that don't read all hearthstone news and are not aware about this card at all. I guess we will see it in decks for a few days – maybe a week tops – and then all jade druid players have stopped playing the deck.
They kill Jade Druid with this, but yet, what about pirates?
You're usually dead by the time it comes to turn 6 against a pirate warrior!
Not saying that this card will 100% see play, but just because it was "built" to counter Jade Idol, if it's good enough to counter the other decks it'll probably see play anyways and not just exist as an idle threat (pun intended).
I think the card is really neat and disrupts the regular flow of the game so I could see myself using it regardless.
Uggh. My least favorite card of the set. Seriously, a HAND attack? I thought that was a cardinal rule. Now Blizzard went there, and in the worst way possible - by printing an I WIN card that can't be played around by certain archetypes.
First of all, there's still gonna be way too many people playing aggro decks that won't care about this card, secondly, there are other important one cost spells such as
Whirlwind, Shield Slam, Mortal Coil, Earth Shock (if anyone uses it), Lightning Bolt, Frost Shock, Hallucination, Potion of Madness, Power Word: Shield, Paladin won't care unless they run Hand of Protection, and Mage won't care at all. But Hunter and Druid have Hunter's Mark, Earthen Scales, and Naturalize.
So this is a pretty serious card more more than just jade druid, and there's even more one cost spells that are used in other, less popular decks.
Final thoughts: this card is META DEFINING.
people should dust it
Everyone talking about Jade Druids, while forgetting that this can break some other existing decks, especially when Druid can ramp up this card on turn 2-4. Here is a bunch of 1 cost spells: Whirlwind, Smuggler's Run, Shield Slam, Power Word: Shield, Potion of Madness, Mirror Image, Mark of the Lotus, Mind Vision, Inner Fire, Evolve, Earthen Scales. Some of these in certain decks are key cards to have.
Of all those cards, only Shield Slam and Inner Fire are any good against the Big Druid that will want to be ramping this out.
Remember that people only really play Power Word Shield because it lets you basically have a 28 card deck. We're pretty happy to not draw our small cards against ramp decks.
