Dragon priest- Does not run inner Fire, power word shield will have been cast by turn 6, if it has not, not really important
Silence Priest- If you didn't do your Divine spirit inner fire combo by turn 6, you probably wouldn't have won against control anyway, Power word shield, you probably already casted at this point.
Miracle priest (what I assume he means by Lyra Priest) - Only priest Archetype really affected by this card, however the deck is not that consistent by it self right now, and running an otherwise terrible card just to target miracle priest seems unreal.
In conclusion priest decks that are affected by this card are not strong enough to be teched at. The only way priest is is going to be affected is if Jade Druid was so popular that every control deck would run this card. Which probably won't happen because of the existence of this card.
Dirty Rat
You all mates forgot evolve Shaman, wich also got the DK Hero to support it, but he's better in a midrange deck. So the aggro version of Evolve Shaman is completly dead, if not inexistent.
My wild mill rogue can beat jade druid, secret paladin, and inner fire priest now :) and not worrying about evolve shenanigans is good too
bye bye jade druid
Bad time to create The Marsh Queen?
No , it only affects 1 cost spells, so it's not a problem for that quest.
Blizzard releases Jade Idol. People complain that Jade Idol limits design space.
Blizzard releases a counter to Jade Idol. People complain that the counter limits design space.
Because creating a design-limiting card that counters a design-limiting card doesn't solve the problem.
It's just like a snowball, soon enough there will be no space for any good designed cards
This obviously affects a lot of spells, however here are the ones that I would say see regular play:
Clearly this impacts druid the most, absolutely destroying Jade Druids by removing two of their late game key cards. Mark Of The Lotus is also a critical aggro card but their is a good chance they may have used it by turn 6.
Token Shaman is also severely hurt with the removal of one of their key combo breaking cards.
The Priest spells are also very common, and in particular Inner Fire will hurt a lot of OTK combo decks.
Most of the other spells classes can live without. Shield Slam may hurt control warriors, however Upgrade will still be run in pirate warriors since the games are typically decided by turn 6 anyway, and even if they are not a 4/6 played at turn 6 that does nothing except thin the deck will do little to change the outcome. Likewise cards like Hallucination & Mortal Coil will likely still be run since they are typically played earlier in the match.
