Desperate [ S T A N D ]
This is also a buff to the Paladin quest The Last Kaleidosaur which has been almost unplayable in standard. Along side Primalfin Champion Giving a way more reliable way of summoning Galvadon.
Not to mention the quest can be completed with less cards. allowing more powerhouses as filler options.
nerfed ancestral spirit and it colides with another paladin secret (zero innovation here)
wow.. ye sure
compairing different class-cards makes sense *not
+
not understand the difference between a secret (triggers during opponents turn) and a spell which can be "activated" during your own turn...
(zero understanding of card design)
Tirion into N'Zoth is obviously the dream, but it's also great with Wickerflame Burnbristle. Getting those few extra triggers of Lifesteal can put you out of harm's way. Solid enough with Infested Tauren, too. Might be too slow in practice, but it's certainly worth trying in both Quest and N'Zoth Paladin.
It is balanced. It's Paladin card. What do paladins have? A lot of Divine Shield minions. Tirion, Wickerflame etc. Divine Shield returns when minion is returned to life.
Last Kalidasor?...just stealth it and not the untargetable???? Then desperate stand the guy!!
And it will be 5/1 with no adaptations.
I guess the reason this is slightly worse than Ancestral spirit is because paladins are the class that manipulates health and attack, and because they are the only class with Divine shield minions
Al'Akir says hello.
Paladin, raised from the ashes in Un'Goro now becomes even stronger. I hope the legendary hero card paladin is not broken as f*ck.
"Discover a deathrattle minion that died this game: summon it with 1 hp"
"Give a minion divine shield and taunt"
I hope is one of these two
So let's tally it up:
Tirion Fordring
Stonehill Defender into Tirion Fordring x2
Redemption x2
Hydrologist into Redemption x2
Desperate Stand x2
Ivory Knight into Redemption x2
N'Zoth, the Corruptor for up to 6x Tirions
Now if somehow we could get ourself Hadronox, we can get another 7x on the board.
Put your
faithface in the light, will ya, already?!Don`t forget about Prince Taldaram and cards like Youthful Brewmaster
If you have 4x brewmasters and use them on the N'Zoth...
If you cast this and you have redemption on board then you get two of the same minion when it dies I would think. Seems fun but not competitive
1. Tirion Fordring
2. 2 x Desperate Stand
3. 2 x Redemption
4. N'Zoth, the Corruptor
5. ???
6. Profit!
I am not sure whether this card has a place in constructed
But a redemption effect is always good especially for big minions or divine shield minions
This is a perfect example of blizzard developers running out on ideas...
Meta defining card :D
Redemption hasn't seen any play outside of Secret Paladin so I'd be hesitant to say this will but it comes with some added bonuses that I'd heavily consider including it.
You direct where this triggers!
It triggers during your turn which means you can potentially have "2 mana, don't lose tempo".
You can return it with Primalfin Champion.
It counts towards [card]The Last Kaleidosaur[/card] (hahaha).
Righteous Defender returns back at 100% health.
