- You can never have more than one Shadow Reflection in your hand.
- Shadow Reflection leaves your hand at the end of your turn, so it only works on 5 mana cards or less. (Source)
- Effects that invoke Mana Cost reduction will not be copied by Shadow Reflection. (Like Emperor Thaurissan ticks, Preparation, Shadowstep.)
- Remember how Stealth works! If you wish to attack, do attack BEFORE using this Hero card.

Infinite value with card generation. Stonehill Defender would be super annoying.
Do you get multiple Shadow Reflections a turn? As it says during your turn add a shadow reflection to your hand, so if i play my shadow reflection card is another one added to my hand that is not transformed?
Example:
Play Eviscerate
Shadow Reflections transforms to Eviscerate
Play the Shadow Reflections Eviscerate
Since i no longer have a shadow reflection card in hand and its during my turn, is another one added that would allow me to then play Coin, and cast shadow reflections Coin?
No, the shadow reflection copies the last card you played that turn. If you don't use it then it disappears. A new one will appear at the start of your next turn before you draw a card. That's it
Shouldnt it say at the start of your turn add a shadow visions card to your hand? the wording gives the impression during your turn you will always have a shadow visions card in your hand during your turn, even after you cast a shadow visions. However when you cast a transformed shadow visions a non transformed shadow visions is added to your hand.
Yeah it should say that. I hope they change it to make it clearer.
I hope it works how it sounds, would make miracle rogue even more insane.
Ice Block costs 3 mana, gaining 5 armor costs 1 mana (Iron Hide). Ice Block is automatically used, with this you have you have to anticipate if your opponent has direct damage in their hands.
The hero power is great, but again, it allows your opponents an extra free turn, plus valeera doesn't have a board clear, unless you run Deathwing.
About the art, did Rob liefield draw this? her torso looks like his signature art.
Haha, I don't think it's quite that bad...
yeah, right?!
Theoretically, the bonus card can only turn into 5- cost cards. But try this: Sprint, Counterfeit Coin that was drawn, Preparation that was drawn, and you can finally cast the transformed Sprint!
that doesn't work because the bonus card transforms with every card played, not just the first. so you would end up with another prep
Her nose ruins the art :c
why are you getting downvotes xD
Idk Im probably crazy but this card seems really good in C'thuun rogue in my opinion. With shadowcaster it lets you play 2 of any cthuun card that you have in your deck (including Blade of C'Thun) and it would let you get more immediate value. It might be too late game tho Im not 100% sure
You cannot copy a card with more than 5 manacost see the savij reveal video to understand what I am saying
Yeah I understand that, but if you shadowcaster your blade of cthuun you have a 1 mana copy in your hand. You could then play the 1 mana and 9 mana copies for 10 mana combined, letting you do it all in one turn
You won't be able to get long term value out of this. This is the type of card where you have to make something happen ASAP/the turn right after. Which is why I think that Malygos Rogue is the ideal archetype for this card. The Leeroy combos seem alright too, but just 1 taunt by your opponent reduces the effectiveness - and there seems to be a Taunt Druid brewing. Also in the mirror matchup, you can kill your opponent through stealth with Sinister Strike, again which is why I'm sold on MalyRogue for this card.
I feel like there isn't enough explaining to this and Blizzard or some streamer really needs to clear things up with a Mythbusters/Bug testing type of thing.
Concern #1: The Shadow Reflections card says "transform this into a copy of it". If that is the case, We should theoretically be able to play the same card every single turn no? My concern is will it ALWAYS DISAPPEAR whether or not it copies a card or if it only disappears if you didn't play a card that turn (basically did nothing except hero power). My guess is that it will always disappear because the card is kinda broken otherwise, but it would be nice if they cleared it up in a mini QnA before the expansion to avoid confusion.
Concern #2: The quote "Shadow Reflection leaves your hand at the end of your turn, so it only works on 5 mana cards or less " feels a bit misleading to me. Does the card STRICTLY work on 5 mana cards or less or could I use any 6 mana card and then use The Coin and/or Counterfeit Coin or even Preparation (since it won't get copied by the Shadow Reflection to get the 2 mana to play the copy of that 6 mana card.
Concern #3: Since the quests were unable to be discovered or obtained through random effects, will the same treatment be applied to DeathKnights? Will you be able to play more than one Deathknight
I just hope Toast gets to this to clear up questions and interactions.
For Concern 1, based on the visuals, the card works like Shifter Zerus or Molten Blade. It "transforms" into another card, but it still is technically Shifter Zerus, which is why it can transform again. So this card is always still Shadow Reflection, will go away at the end of the turn if it is still in your hand.
For Concern 2, why do you think the coin or prep won't get copied by Shadow Reflection? I'd imagine you play your 6 cost card, then play coin, and now Shadow Reflection turns from the 6 cost card to the coin.
